Oh I am sorry, you mean those pensioners who never thought about the need for a pension.
Sorry I really struggle with this discussion as I watched my parents enter retirement with very little and having to watch the pennies as their state pension was tuppence and there priavte one went to pot due to the stockmarket plus they had little to start with and worked every hour g-d sent them to educate/care for three sons.
We have a system that needs an overhaul from how we work with the unemployed/hand out benefits all the way to public sector pensions and overseas aid. Its better than most but still needs a root and branch overhaul....
People need educating about pensions from an early age and the govt have a role to play in this...not convinced that there are rich pensioners unless they worked for the govt (dont get me started)
