Here is hoping - if OPEC do nothing, watch oil slide - its going to be bumpy. OPEC need to pause as that would be prudent given Omicron unknows, SPR and IRAN...I would love them to cut :)

Who can you trust?? OPEC is saying over supply is on its way, Goldman went big and now has pulled back on its OP, a Morgan presenting some crazy highs, some small beer bank in europe (:)) says we will be back at 60. Is there no single version of supply and demand based on current output and some scenarios? The variant so far is not a significnat issue (so far). Virus's in the main weaken but become more transmissable that is how they survive. For what it is worth Bojo should never have removed masks or PCR testing to LFDs (so he is just fixing a mistake IMHO). The UK need to stop panicking but who am I just a measly PI.

Not looking forward to tomorrow... Seen nothing of opec looking to delay more oil coming to market... Can see this and oil tanking.. They would be stupid to not hold back on the 400 for Dec AND Jan, demand is looking choppy. Have a feeling though they will do diddly and oil price will fall... Fed up of the downward spiral.. For all those doomsayers please go back to bed and stop spreading fear and panic. It's another variant and as usual the market has over reacted.. There have been cases here for weeks and the data to date shows that it is a milder variant albeit more contageous. Hopefully we will see a slow rise back up this week. Soo sick of people saying another lock down is coming.. Well it ain't, the virus is here to stay and we need to find a way to live with it....

I am predicting a 2 percent rise..... Fridays fall was surprising smal ll for tullow so not expecting a huge come back today

Has the world gone mad.... We know very little about this variant or the impact of it on vaccinated individuals. Yes it's of concern but how much TBD. Masks should never have been removed in the first place given the little overhead on peoples lives. This virus is not going away and it will work its way through communities. This is the new flu. I hope Monday is a bounce not a crash but who knows... Friday was awful for my portfolio given I am long here...

The variant isn't BS..... and there will be more.. We just need to get over it and realise this is now BaU.... There are a handful of cases and it is potentially pretty nasty but no cases in UK yet

I think the SPR release is priced in but if OPEC respond by not adding to the market that would be a good result (I would be suprised if that was priced in)

Thanks Chilt I always value your posts. Now I do think given the drop our esteemed leader should put some cash on the table. I am down 6k from todays fall.... Clearly investment decisions are not my forte
