I think we will be staying down here for a while. Doing some research direction points to a very bad September until election over. Oil likely to go much lower. Seems all noise about demand being solid are bull and oversupply is king. Looks like this may be a deep recession unless something changes. Luckily the Div is solid for now

Something is not right here - global demand (based on the stats in teh public domain) is stready and increasing albeit at a slower rate. Loads of supply issues and risks (war etc). US Strategic reserve at all time lows. Draws week after week. Nothing adds up. The only drivers for me are general market sentiment (recessions) and market manipulation. There is no consistency in the news - one day we are in WW3 and the next all is rosey. I just think its social media/news causing panic and people make money out of it when there is no truth underneath it...eager to hear others views

Not sure we are cheap.. When the deal was announced we hit 330..since then we have meandered down to 280 at one point... Our performance over the last couple of years has been poor. The market values this company very lowly... Will this change when the deal goes through... I for one bloody hope so but so many ftse shares are technically undervalued and nothing shifts them. I do hope I am wrong
