RE: UT - 16.5m shares ( £6m)27 Nov 2024 09:07
Let’s get a few things straight: 20 years ago, ITM Power was barely out of the lab. No factories, no major partnerships, and no serious market presence. Today, they’re leading in electrolyser technology, scaling production, and signing deals globally. Comparing that to the early days is laughable.
The 2021 bubble? Of course it burst—hype always does. But investing isn’t about chasing hype; it’s about long-term fundamentals, which are stronger than ever. My investment horizon is 5-10 years, not 2. Markets don’t reflect value immediately, especially in industries like hydrogen that require time to scale.
As for the UK government pumping money into CC and oil: short-term policy decisions don’t negate the global pivot to hydrogen. Europe, the US, and Asia are investing heavily, and ITM is perfectly placed to benefit.
You can keep focusing on the share price; I’ll keep focusing on the bigger picture. What is it with these people? So angry.
