I wouldn't know about BG engineers, I am a gas and electric customer for BG but I use another company for my services who I can rely on.
It's a big same that BG engineers already have an un reliable image.

So once O'shea has sorted out the unions and strikers and reduced the total overheads it will be time to move on and take over Octopus, after all if you can't beat them buy them out.
Sounds a great plan for later this year, and then we can just replace all the customers that have left with new ones and by then the sp will be 70p+ - £1.

Yes I guessed that but when a poster trys to make out they are all based at HQ and have already sent their vans back to HQ to make it look like the engineers are winning the fight I had to make a post to the opposite . If many of you engineers keep trying to make silly remarks about how bad things are going your way when clearly they are going the way Oshea wants them to go you will get even more remarks from many shareholders trying to do you down.
At the end of the day it's going to get sorted and some will benefit and some will not but as long as cna moves forward to improve business and profits, that's what counts.

engineers leaving in droves...want proof..100s of vans returned to head office, if that is the case then surely they have NOT been fired but resigned it was their choice.
Also if 1000's of vans have been returned to the HQ , why would that be surley they would be returned to their local depots wouldn't they, after all that's where they work from.

I guess it must be very difficult for O'shea , he must of had what he thought were good advisers and the only way out of this and at the same time improve the long term prospects of cna.
I guess he thinks he must make his mark as well and at the end of the day the city will decide if they think he's right with the sp going up or down. We are just pawns here.

You are correct in a number of points and the same thing has happened and will happen to many other companies.
Many companies have just got to big with people numbers , overhead costs, too many benefits and dwindling profits.
If action is not taken many have and do go under, and this is not a new problem.
I and many will remember the old RR , Marconi, going back 20 years or soall going bust and lately Woolworth, Debs, Thomas cook, the list goes on and on with many all saying they can't go bust. but they do and Cna is no different, things need to change now and everyone knows it, so the quicker Oshea sorts it out the better.

Well maybe we should have all sold at £4 and then sat on our hands. The way we are going it doesn't look like many will be going on holiday to the EU / med at all this summer and it looks like Saga will be giving refunds again, can see the sp going down to £3.00 or less until we get sorted out.

Iam just saying if it wasn't for the strike and the Engineers trying to hi-jack this site for their own benefit and improve their position then they wouldn't be on here would they, or do you see it different
If you see it different and you have bought shares with your own money, what would you do as a bod to improve the company , cut costs and make it profitable where it can compete with other companies?

Work continues in line with plan on the Group's financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2020 and the Group now expects to report underlying profit before tax of approximately £10m (2019: £4.2m).

From Closure of FCA investigation
The Group will now release the provision of £10.4m which was made in relation to any potential liabilities arising from the investigation.
