You are of course correct, Bcl, the SP is merely a result of the PPA that just doesn’t want to seem to come for whatever reason, this is also AIM and people will eventually pull their monies out in pursuit of another investment and on next to no volume that means the SP can go only one way. Of course, also being AIM, all will be quickly forgotten 'when' the PPA is delivered. JD

On a deal of this size the closer you get the more people come into the ‘deal room’. If anything as we approach FC that number will grow (substantially) as the lawyers start getting signatures on contracts. JD

To be fair to them, all they are really saying is what we are, where is the PPA and ultimately F.C? It’s taken an age, that’s all that has really been stated here. JD

Just ploughing back through the annual results (because I am bored) to see if anything jumps out at me, interesting the below comment under 'Subsequent Events': 'Strategies to complete the funding arrangements for this flagship project are ongoing' I as others imagine these to be all but bottomed out, however, until we get the PPA we won't see exactly what they are / look like. Meant to add, you’ll be right BTW Kibo (and probably a member(s) of their legal team) will have employees embedded into the PPA TG Team, answering queries as they arise. JD

It’s a very good point you raise, Supercool. I’ve worked at the financial close stages of large PFI Construction Projects and had those kind of numbers involved trying to get a ‘deal’ everyone can agree on, so it’s not uncommon on a deal this size to have those kind of numbers pouring over the details. One thing is for sure is it tells you that they want this to happen as much as Kibo (us) do otherwise they wouldn’t be wasting this vast resource on it for nothing. I think they are just nervous and want to make sure they get this right first time and get value for money. This is a huge deal for the country and is worth a few percentage points of GDP to an emerging economy, which is why they are buried in the detail. JD

Again to the proactive investors interview again. What do you think he meant by incoming investment / investors? The way it listened was he seemed to be suggesting that with the multiple projects now in house that you have more investors wanting to come in. You could take it to mean both for the standalone SPV side of things or straight up Equity of Kibo Energy (Parent Company) itself? Just for fun musings. JD

Interview was a decent watch, nothing earth shattering in there of course but still nice to see him selling the company. Interesting point about looking out for a ‘non’ coal energy project. Stroking my chin on what that could be? With the likes of GE in toe could we be talking Gas (gas turbines, etc)? Also, it’s an interesting point that in Moz there is already well established, low cost, high quantity/ quality coal being mined on your doorstep, could be a real saving when you consider that you don’t need the capital investment for the coal mine / reserves in this instance. But first things first, we need the PPA to set this firework off. JD

That�s interesting, Yaki, in fact that has been spoken about on this very BB, i.e. more than one way to make the financials work..... The Due Diligence on the programming is interesting, maybe the TG are looking to squeeze the programme and get it online quicker? Obviously, in Construction, quicker also means cheaper. That obviously has to be linked to SEPCO3 recent negotiations on 'Revalidate the existing EPC contract price for MCPP'? Nice to see the dots joining. JD
