Great imagery!!! Pyroclastic is a phenomenal word. SEPCOIII is a multi billion dollar company, they wish to take (up to) 25% in little old Kibo Energy. Sooner or later the reason for that will dawn on the market. Buckle up, this won’t be Mount Etna, it will be Krakatoa East of Java IMHO. JD

For no other reasons than it suggests the US is trying to regain a foothold back in the region, also mentions GE and their ‘ultra-super critical coal burning technology’ too. Let’s hope GE match SEPCO in their investment here shortly. Only three weeks to AGM, come on Kibo give us the PPA / SML.

Spot on Wimbo, one of the best weeks in a long time, a major player coming on board (I still think GE will follow them) and our funding requirements medium term soon to be sorted. Like all things Kibo, it will take time to unwind, but the week has been widely positive none the less. JD

Thinking over today’s news. Interesting that they have left it 90 days to determine (agree) the price of the SP for the equity input. All parties obviously think the sp will be much higher in 90 days post PPA/SML....... JD

BCL, that is the smart line of questioning IMHO.

KEFI issued equity roughly in line with the NPV of it’s project value (small discount to) for their recently raised USD$30m. Expect Kibo to do the same, it will be based on the NPV (minus a small discount) to the MCPP NPV, maybe better than that IMHO if they leverage a better deal based on the EPC ‘exclusivity’ deal on Bots, Moz or future deals or the fact that they could be given first offer on the Equity / Debt of MCPP and future deals. It won’t be for 5p!
