Gman I agree with your points however, in reference to your point two. The majority of those discussion were not that anyone thought the govt would not pay for Avct tests and they would make no profits.
Margins would be smaller yes, but of course still make money.
The references were to ASs comments in the presentation about there currently being no room to sell privately to the UK because the govt were giving away the tests from free, I.e nobody would pay to bu one in boots because you can get the for free (and the general public don’t understand the difference in quality yet). So access to the market in the UK at present is via the govt.

Also - to think India will just be able to go into a lockdown like the uk did is again so narrow minded. Do you think the people who rely on manual work to simply put food on the table and feed their families can just lockdown!?
There is ZERO support for impoverished people (if you have ever been to India you will know there is a lot too).
In the first lockdown the decision many had was lockdown and starve or risk catching the virus and maybe die.

Wyndrum. In the same way reported cases were low in the UK due to lack of testing and likely not reflective of reality, the situation in India is out of control, you can’t try and pro rats any representative comparisons.
Healthcare system there is less advanced, impoverished areas will likely just have dead that go unaccounted for as religious beliefs mean they cremate the dead ASAP.
They are running on overload, figures are heavily understated it is believed.
To try and just extrapolate a comparison based on numbers with no consideration of outside factors is incredibly naive!

Trek I would say your profit margins are a little on the high side although hard to tell where it I’ll come out if we get a govt contract as margins will be lower there than selling direct to Europe.

For my personal conservative numbers (I think it’s right to do it that way based on info we loosely have.

Avg 10m test per month over a 12m period @ £5 per test and 30% profit margin is:
£600m revenue and £180m profit.
That justifies in my eyes the current mkt cap.

That’s before you attribute any value to everything else Avct has in the pipeline.

PAH I think raising the sensitivity is probably the wrong phrasing but the likelihood of two false positives in a row at 99% Is 1% x 1% or 0.01% which is 1 in 10,000. So confirmatory testing reduces the potential of a false positive having such an impact.

If that 1 was an outlier, which AS alluded to in the prezzo, then yes larger sample sizes dilute the impact of that single outlier and increase the S&S

If Medusa have geared up to 50m per month (take their claims with a pinch of salt) do you think their average performing antibody test that they have slashed the price of by 30% since launch is flying off the shelves in those quantities. I doubt it.
Who knows if they would manufacture Avct antigen test but at 50m a month they’ll have some spare.

Dan - I'll be very open and honest in saying I am absolutely Ice cool about this. I have an average of 50p, have done my research and was in here 3 years ago so don't really care about the second by second share price. Personally I see the foundations this company is building for the long run.
The money I have in here I can afford to lose (i'd rather not but that's investing), I'm not leveraged, so if this goes to £1, 50p heck even zero, that's the risk reward profile I have chosen but I hold here as I see significant upside medium and long term.

Yeah I mean it's not like Avacta own the IP to the exact reason the LFT is so good, Affimers. The same Affimers that in 2021 at least 4 licensing deals have been announced so nobody can be interested in the tech.

After all it’s better on all fronts (bar price which I think may be the current sticking point with HMG)
