I had assumed that the judge(s?) would need time to triangulate and consider all the evidence and for writing the ruling?
Do we know what the probable timeframe is for the Court to render it's ruling/decision?
Thanks, Brighty. That is a good reminder ( in addition to what ABDX has submitted as an interested in this case). Let's see how the Court rules on the evidence and arguments and how the market reacts ( or not) to the judgement.
Anyone have views or experience around the likely deadline that the BoD would have put for bids from the selected parties now conducting due diligence?
HD2U, I think if your worse-case situation occurred, it is entirely possible the market could bring this down well below 7p. We both know the market can be irrational and misprice for a very extended period of time. In terms of your best-case scenario, I think the elements of those would need much longer to all occur, IMO. In terms of your add-ins, they are unknowable at this stage, so they are not something I would factor-in to my decision to hold (but I'm definitely not adding).
I noted the language around "a focused selection" which gives the impression that there was quite a few propositions put to them. Let's see if the due diligence process hardens the resolve for serious bids or causes the contenders to pull away.
Dino, thanks for sharing the link to Abingdon's submission to the Court. It seems well-argued and factual. I'm more confident but let's see how the Court rules in the case.
Neither adding, nor selling down. Waiting patiently for hard news of monies received, much more than news of orders being filled, or of a court case concluded or of an EUA granted to a customer.
I reckon the best offer will be £1.80 tops ( more or less 20% premium to current price), but I hope I am very wrong on this
HappyDays, nothing is "almost guaranteed" if you are in court. I hope the market's reaction will be more focused around welcoming the clarity that comes from conclusion of a case.
Can anyone spell out how in fact we are related in substance to this GLP case? And how the potential court rulings ( both win or loss) may affect the non-binding agreement between ABDX and DHSC to work on a solution to have outstanding monies paid to the company?
Hellyeah, I can't see this hitting £2 and certainly not this side of Easter. I expect there to be sub-£2 bids if Sycamore stay in, and only a chance of £2+ bids, if two other sensible outfits come in
