A********’n, it’s actually incredibly dark and twisted what you do. There’s people here with money invested in a stock. The company releases good news after good news but against a backdrop of global economic crisis the share price doesn’t move. This is the case for pretty much all stocks at the moment.
And yet, you see this as opportunity to sow seeds of doubt in peoples mind, try and make them question their investments and make panic decisions that may cost them thousands down the line .
Your claims are short term, have no sense of big picture or overview and are unsupported. What you do is morally bankrupt. Make better life choices.
The short termism on here blows my mind sometimes, although I know it’s really more cynical than that.
Guild sign deals with Bitstamp, Coca Cola, Razer, and Hyperice within a 6 month period as well as opening a HQ with a 10 year lease. No RNS for what? 2 weeks? And along comes the fearmongering again. Patience is so important.
It’s not as black and white as gambling, win or lose. It’s about creating a club and gaming culture that sustains and fans support, win or lose. Good performances in knockouts that result in losses (good drama basically) still gain new audiences. As it happens though they have recruited some of best players in the world and do really well in the four games they compete in.
Leo is one of the best Valorant players in the world
Hen is one of the best Fortnite players in the world
Nicholas99fc is one of the best FIFA players in the world
CRR is one the most exciting young Rocket League players in the world.
Guild are a good esports team, that being taken more and more seriously on the esports world (just watch the esports YouTube reactions to their Valorant progress) and good brand that attract best in class sponsors.
England performing well at the Commonwealths is just the start of the something for the Uk. Guild Vs FNATIC I think will become a classic London derby match in future
And here’s the link https://esports-news.co.uk/2022/07/14/esports-england-commonwealth-rosters/
Just to keep perspective here following a minor dip in share price, the last 6 months for Guild have been unbelievably good:
Sponsors signed: Razer, Bit Stamp, Coca Cola, Hyperice
Team results:
Fifae champions league winners. Fifae World Cup runners up.
Rocket League world finals runner up (beating Faze Clan in the semi-finals)
Valorant Champions Tour Finals; Playoffs. (beating Optic, KRU, M3c and Team Liquid along the way)
Fortnite: Both Hen and Anas qualified for FNCS finals
Headquarters are open. Once naming rights for building are sorted then we should see a full launch this year.
IMO the removal of the merchandise from the website means a launch of a new improved range is around the corner.
Guild very much delivering on objectives here.
I can see a healthy UK scene developing. With the current crop of players Guild will be easily competing with the likes of London rivals FNATIC. The latter are valued by Forbes at 260m, Guild currently have a 12m market cap. It’s a nice gap to hopefully close.
Interesting, if you google ‘ Coca Cola Guild esports’, first hit is a Partner page on the official Guild Website with the description:
‘We're proud to welcome Coca-Cola to the GuildGang as our Official Soft Drinks & Hydration Partner! Coca-Cola will be key in helping us further connect with ...’
If you then click the link it goes to a page not found.
Interesting that this copy has been written at some point though
HQ was due to open sometime April-June. This will surely be the next big piece of news from the company. If they’re doing it right, the launch of the HQ should also come with news of sponsors for the new building.
The teams are looking very solid at the moment. In Fortnite, Valorant and FIFA, Guild are considered among the very best. That's incredible for just 3 years of existence. They will probably need to expand their rosters to Overwatch and League of Legends eventually.
In terms of revenue, hopefully Kal can make the most of this good spell of form. I still think the HQ launch will bring with it news of more sponsors, naming rights of the building, individual room/arenas etc, T
They're also still yet to relaunch their merch store since the new kit announcement so assume a big redesign has been happening, Designer Fergus Purcell has done an incredible job with the Guild branding. You really notice when you see their logo etc among other elite esports clubs. It's the best by a mile. Hopefully they can capitalise on this and build the 'lifestyle' aspect of esports revenue.
Currently we have an 8m team outplaying teams worth 100-400m. Barring any unforeseen controversy, this 2022 price should be one of those ones you look back on in 2025 and think, wow if only I had known about it then.
good luck everyone
First time the company has been named i think
From the interims :
‘ We are working closely with a niche fabric and garment manufacturer with capabilities here in the UK and the Middle East. We will be applying our Graphene-WearTM ink technology to a range of their fabrics for them to manufacture sportswear garments. They will be selling these garments to their UK customers and also into the Middle East where the company has established teamwear and retail supply channels.’

well it certainly didn’t negatively affect the performances today.
Guild just won the FIFA eChampions league (75k prize money) and the Valorant team beat Magic Johnson’s Team Liquid to top their group. Huge wins, can only help with sponsor negotiations.
yes, clearly some animosity here "Things don't always turn out how you hope, and sometimes you get worn down. But ultimately without this shot, I wouldn't have gained the experience needed to take on my next role. So for that aspect, I am truly grateful. For the other aspects? I'll save them for a book one day.'
George Hughes, also on his coaching staff, quit three days ago too.
