If you get a huge spike like what happened on the tsx that's going to happpen

I've looked at the chart and TSX is basically flat and red for most of the day. In the final moments you get this almighty spike (on no news)

No institution would intentionally do that when London was available too at materially lower prices (and London is really liquid)

It's money so people obviously going to be emotional about these things

but study arbitrage as majors are always looking for the disconnects. they would never create a spike like what happened on the tsx when London was so weak yesterday.

forget your pricing bias (up or down) it's the way it works

they won't pay a 25% premium on TSX when they don't need to. London was on offer at 23p. I would suggest a few have used last night as a reason to pump the stock and offload.
