Global Petroleum Limited (AIM: GBP, ASX: GBP) is pleased to announce that, following its recent notification of the publication of the Competent Person's Report ("CPR") by AGR TRACS on its Namibian Blocks 1910B and 2010A (Licence PEL0029 - "the Licence"), the Company will shortly commence a structured farmout process, with the intention of future work on the block being financed by a farminee. Global holds an 85% working interest in the Licence, and is Operator.
Global is also pleased to announce that it has appointed Stellar Energy Advisors ('Stellar') to advise the Company in relation to the farmout.

Todays RNS -
The Company is also pleased to confirm that the farm out process for PEL0094 has now commenced. Global is currently contacting potentially interested companies and the data rooms will open in January 2021.

The Company remains committed to offshore Namibia where work will continue in seeking a farm-out partner to fund future operations on both PEL 0029 and PEL 0094.

Fug, once we get the Talitha unitisation if the fo is not ready to go then a placing to get a winter drill done seems logical option. A successful drill will only aid our hand in fo negotiations.

Our Alaska subsidiary, Great Bear Pantheon, has received notice from the Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR) that the application to form the Alkaid Production Unit of 22,804 acres is complete and eligible for approval. The DNR has opened a 30-day public comment period on the application and must make a decision on the application within 60-days. This is a significant advancement for the Alkaid project as the Unit will extend the leases for the Greater Alkaid project area beyond their primary term, and because it provides a clear pathway to production.

Squirrel when Pantheon were at £1.80 sp it was because they had 'cracked the code' in Texas. They are a different company now with much different prospects now targetting Alaskan resources.

Alaska Journal of Commerce note last week - Shell files plans to return to the Slope; ConocoPhillips awaits initiative outcome mentions Pantheon -

"Elsewhere on the Slope, Great Bear Petroleum Ventures and Borealis Alaska LLC have partnered in hopes of forming the Talitha Unit south of Prudhoe Bay along the west side of the Dalton Highway. In the unit application submitted Sept. 4 the small independents committed to drilling two vertical wells, Talitha A and B, over the next two exploration seasons.

The Talitha A well, tentatively planned for next winter, would be approximately eight miles west of the Dalton and be drilled about 10,200 feet to the base of the Kuparuk formation, according to the application.

London-based Pantheon Resources purchased Anchorage-based Great Bear Petroleum — the project operator — in 2019 along with the roughly 200,000 acres of leases Great Bear held at the time.

Great Bear first started working the area in 2012 and drilled several wells targeting unconventional shale plays but largely shifted to a conventional oil focus in 2015 when oil market conditions deteriorated and new prospects appeared in 3-D seismic data, company leaders have said.

Pantheon directors have said the logistical advantages of being near the haul road should help the economics of Talitha and other nearby prospects."

"If these guys pull of a 29 extension and Total make a discovery then I’ll take a punt."
Odd that the majority of your posts on LSE are on the GBP board.
