Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Remember there is an interview on 28th april (stockbox premiere), so that means that we will have some news before or after that. Either this upcoming week or the next I expect some sort of positive share price movement
This is a bit of nonsense. You can only benchmark with other companies if you take into consideration many factors, not only gold production. Caracal gold is debt free, also assets by itself (kilimapesa mine equipment and infrastructure) are worth alone more £20m. Caracal gold share price is not even encompassing the value of the other 2 tanzanian projects and their gold resources. BOD could also be part of a company's valuation. And we have a very experience one, with good connections with the goverment. So saying that we are currently undervalued 30% just comparing GCAT production to other gold miners is silly IMO. We should be trading well above 2p if not more....
Is not the price off the test but the number of tests targeting the market imo. If the company manages a deal with NHS, europe or US (plus now china) we are talking about millions and millions of people every single year.... the potential here is astonishing....
FCA? Oh well 95% down but I know some are -99%. This is what I call an amazing well run company. Anyways mine was a punt, but I feel bad for everyone who lost money in this dead horse. No point in selling now imo....
Lately I have been trying to understand why we are sitting in such low mcap £13m. I found no explanation. However, I have been checking other companies with similar mcaps, and I can conclude that in my opinion we are EXTREMELY undervalued. POG rising, gold production rising, assay results due, expansion plans being executed, recent board appointments are of a high quality.... etc.
Either the big seller is still here, the market is dumb, or there is loads of shorters and the SP is being manipulated.... I am wondering which is it...

Imo this is a very high quality growth investor kind of stock. For those actually willing to hold for at least 1 year should see great returns. This is not a share like those junior explorers chasing rainbows and fairytales with no guarantees. This is GCAT and the BOD is there on the ground in Kenya producing gold and improving operations efficiently, with great expansion plans and potential. GLA

Suggins you are not the only one as I am heavily invested here. I thought my top up last week after placing was spot on but looks like I should have waited a bit longer. The reality is that even with the SP down today, tomorrow or next week, soon or later the market will catch up and re-rate fairly the mcap of Caracal Gold. From here only upside coming from the BOD regarding revenues, gold productions, lower cost, increase in maiden resources, acquisitions and much more. That tells you that fundamentals remain stronger than ever and you should hold tighly your shares. Important is that the BOD gets in some institutions or some trustworthy major shareholders that hold with confidence ther investments/shares at long term. I know there is some people here with high averages, but what is a 20% or 30% down when there is upside potential for 200% or 300% this year alone and much more next year.

Even thought HUM produces good amounts of gold I would say they are barely profitable:
"FY2021 AISC of US$1,536 oz, in line with revised guidance of US$1,490 - US$1,590 per oz"
I cannot comment on AAZ as I cannot find their Aisc.
Caracal gold has $949 oz Aisc, and is set to be lower in the upcoming months according to the BOD
Right now I find completly nasty that we are sitting at £16M mcap as the market has not given any recognition to the BOD great improvements, appointments and acquisitions. But most importantly the market is not valuing the company based in the "real factor" which are the numbers such as the revenue, aisc, profits, and maiden resources.
At this point for me it is a necessity that the BOD manages to look after, and form relationships, with major shareholders and institutional investors. Retail investors rarely hold shares for long periods of time. Furthermore, communication from RNSs should be improved to let the market understand better the business operations and finances.
Overall I am completly dissapointed of current mcap and today's drop because means that there are sellers and retail do not truly believes in the business operations and expansion.
However I gotta say that sometimes re-rates come out of nowhere and SP increases can happen out of nowhere and very quickly, and this could happen anytime with Caracal Gold. As a matter of fact, last year I invested in another company that seemed undervalued at that moment (in my opinion) and the SP was fluctuating in the same range for almost 7 months, when I finally I was about to give up and sell my shares, in 5 days time and with no news of RNS the SP increased about 150%, exiting with a nice profit. What I want to say is that sometimes re-rates happens when you least expect them and they can happen very quickly in no news. I hope that a fair re-rate will come for CGAT in the upcoming months. GLA
The BOD has plans to increase resources to at least 2-3M oz within this year alone, imagine next year after further exploration.... The potential is there to increase up to 4-5M oz between 3 assets: Kilimapesa, Nyakafuru and Simba. Furthermore, all the exploration is likely to be financed with the revenues of kilimapesa and the ownership of 2 drilling rigs. I agree with the possibility of £80m mcap (5p) this year as you gotta think that a 3M oz resource is worth £4 billlion. And £160m mcap next year (10p)
I agree Greg, this was worth more than 1p when they had monthly production under 500oz and 675k oz resource gold.
Now we have a lot more production of oz per month, more than double gold reserves, great expansion plans and new acquisitions.
This shows that right now current SP is a big bargain, and it is good time to top up, average down or get in. GLA
