That's the world.
We need rational not irrational but we struggle with that. We are human after all!
I'll sit this out, spend the rest of my days eating, drinking and washing my hands and I'm going to sign up to sky sports. I miss the sport.
Might be who knows here in the UK, 2,000, 20,000, 200,00, maybe even up to a million. Worst case scenario maybe 1 in 50 and that includes the prospect that everybody will get it. I know healthy old people and unhealthy old people. I love all people. We should all make a point of doing one good deed a day and it will be OK. I'll take my chances, I don't back 50 to 1 shots or I didn't before I landed here. Hope this makes sense.
Looks like you have been provided with various answers. I think sport with or without spectators will be back up and running soon, this year anyway. Question is will Fred average down and might there be an offer at this price. I didn't buy on that premise and I've bought these before today An internet based leisure or sports betting business should surely do well going forward. Just my thoughts.
This virus will not last forever it will pass or we will learn to live with it with the help of science.
Nothing I think. Obviously I don't know about yourselves but I have a high average here now in the 60s. I've made a point of not watching too much and will check in a year that's my resolution to this situation, not written off just hoping to forget about it for a while. Good luck to you all.
A few of these today. Good luck ones and all.
A great song.
Dow might be down a thousand tomorrow.
I took a look at a few other share prices around the market just now destruction everywhere.
As for oil maybe people will use their cars a lot more and maybe that will offest other demand reductions. We love consuming so I think by the time we learn to cope with this corona there will be a lot of pent up demand. It might also introduce an awful lot of liquidity and usage.
Like everyone else I'm sure and more than anything else I hope people are going to be ok and we should all help one another. And wash our hands!
Back to share chat - I caught the doing the delarue at the bottom but sold a little early up 30% in about 5 or 6 days. I'd have been up nearly 50% if I'd held til the end of the day when I sold.
Personally I think this might go down more, anything could crash about all over the place for a while. I think it's way cheap, might be forced sellers or buyers also others taking opposing positions. I also don't like entrenched shareholders although I don't think we have that here.
I'm still holding here. I'm not going to post for a few months. So once again good luck and take care.
My other track emancipate me from mental slavery - Redemption song.
In 2016 when oil was about 35 and the Dow about 18000 tullow was at about 2.00, ok so production and reserves are down but the price is now worth less than 1/5 of what it was then. I don't usually reply to people, especially one's who invariably seem wrong about most of what they say, but I thought this might help.
And remember wash your hands.
Oil prices go up and they go down they always have done and they always will do. Reserves aren't an exact science. Big companies and things like banks dont just operate on a daily, weekly, even dare I say it yearly outlook. You should try and calm and the hysteria.
Strange post. What you do in your time is your business. Good luck with your hurricane oil shares - this is a tullow board, for tullow people.
Just reminded me why I don't post on these boards that often. Cheerio good luck.
It looks nasty but ultimately I believe science can will prevail, just depends how long it takes. In the past having less information, media, communication, seems a much nicer place and time right now. Less mass hysteria.
As for this, oil prices fall and rise that's what they do, they are volatile. I took that risk, reinstating and scraping the dividend really did twist the knife. Very poor form. New mamagement, strategy, owners, one or all those as soon as possible I hope.
As for the cure, gargling salt with water in mouth and nose nostrals I think might help, can't do any harm.
Good luck one and all.
There must be some good news.
I don't understand this board.
People celebrating rising oil prices due to troubles around the world and then saying how bad it is to short a stock.
People posting their targets and stop losses, I can't believe that is real but sucking in very naive and vulnerable investors. Careful and above all, just in case you are considering a leveraged position, better off buying a lottery ticket, all you are doing here is losing and being closed out. Like taking candy from a baby.
Oh and I have shares here, showing a loss, I stand by my prediction. Also look at the top posters here, they seem to be wrong most of the time...
As for the business they have no goodwill left and cannot afford any other shocks, time to go I think.
Maybe instead of fixating on this board you could all do one thing for somebody else tomorrow, a charitable act or volunteer for a charity or pick up litter instead of posting garbage.
Well there it is. My guess is they are going to auction it all as a whole or in parts. Maybe some of the host nations might want more scope with some larger oiler operating the licences which might be relevant. They gonna be forced to do a deal and im going to guess at a 1.65 opening offer, could be a lot more or a lot less but that's my guess.
I don't buy when a share price falls but something has me interested in this despite that. The reserves are they good? The debt is high. What's the rationale for people buying? Any reasoning would be appreciated.
You are a human being and as such I have thoughts about the person and life. I don't think obsessing about something that makes you angry or emotional or melancholy or mixing with such people is good for a persons well being. Up to you and I won't post on this page again.
I see this valued at multiples of the current valuation which is my 2020 vision.
I'm sorry but the assessment of the share reorganisation doesn't look right as detailed by the posters here. I think another business called Shearwater did something similar, take a look at their share price. I don't think people understand the mechanics of what is happening. Same with the disposal which will reduce debt and help pay for the costs of making the business more lean.
People will continue to use bricks and mortar businesses for large purchases, like houses or renting. Maybe not for baked beans.
I feel that people posting here have suffered and I feel your pain but it is such a short life, try and move on.
Look forward, soon be 2020...I see this being valued significantly higher than it is at the moment.
All the best.
Wow how nasty is this, just horrible. You should be ashamed if yourselves. Maybe one of you should be insane vision, the other insane uncle. I just took a look and see at least one of you bought some of these fairly recently. Maybe you should take up some hobbies or practice meditation but not take out your own actions on others.
Took a loss, might be back.
I think positions might have been opened purely for a very very quick bounce. If that's the nature of it at the moment then I'm thinking it could fall further. However I think the price will better reflect the business and go back up and if it doesn't then it could get bought, although again I doubt any longer term investors would sell unless it was multiples of the current price. Good look.
