vele news(positive), mooiplaats sale and strategic investment in makhado. could very well all happen in the next 3 months and this will really take off.

vele only break even at 60 dollars ( price close to 70) and the board will only take a view in the second half of 2016 as per previous rns. Vele also has a semi soft coking product and may fetch higher for that.

Also picked up articles over the weekend stating recovering thermal and met coal. Must bode well for vele. Gla

need news on mooiplaats sale, bbbeee investment into makhado and hengsun investment into makhado. also need to figure out what to do with vele. 59-60 dollars is break even for vele if you want to export. the recent confirmation of the industrial zone on the makhado doorstep will make us a takeover target imo. whatever your view on this share, i do believe we will know our future pretty soon (before yearend). things are moving into a corner now . something has got to give. hopefully upwards

And chinese about to invest in a 2.8bn steel mill on the Makhado coking coal fields owned by us.no mention about that, just one sided negative b.s Just need a little spark ( don't know if it will come from China? Sa?post elections?) to get going here. Really nothing left to say anymore. Far better than 3 years ago but boy we need to get going now. Good luck everyone!

If you doubt the caliber of David Brown you are on your own. Do some homework and read up on his track record. Everywhere he's been has turned out to be very handsome for shareholders. And no, not wrong again. Go read my post again. According to my correspondence the problem were with uc not getting deal inked at NCC and that was the reason for the takeover. The deal got extended because of NCC and eskom not agreeing and at the end the funding was to carry NCC.
