as far as i am concerned no extension on rio payback. it will happen either with or without cga acquisition . as i said regulatory environment in sa (government and getting things done) very frustrating, timeline wise......day, tomorrow next year, 2020? dont know. once the regulatory compliances are in place , the 5 point turnaround plan completed with rio payment in june, we can continue to become a producer and all will come together "at once" imo.

the frustration here is 1 dealing with sa government regulatory issues. its a massive challenge and we are an explorer so we need these matters in place before we start mining. wallington before was operating vele without proper paperwork and we are still paying for it today.(one of the many legacy issues that had to be sorted out). there are buyers for mooiplaats but regulatory issues is a frustration. the makhado project will take time. and so will all the projects untill all the "ducks are aligned" and then db will push the play button. much better off now than 3 years ago .good luck all

Won't happen Funding in place for cga. Funding in place for back up plan to cover Rio. Moreover our bbbeee partner dropped us on 24 January so scrambles to find one as this is necessary in sa. News will drop soon. Also after trump the Chinese put a limit on overseas investments which will delay makhado investment of 113 m usd

Rio monies due for the greater soutpansberg assets nothing to do with makhado as far as I understand. No doubt share everyones frustrations but company in much better position than 3 years ago Rio remain the last legacy issue. Almost there. Good luck

in update. sounds like cga is a long way off still. so focus on funding to stay afloat and to pay rio tinto in june. also sounds like still figuring out how to get funding for cga. dont be surprised if we are not buying keaton. (hope i am wrong). lastly china has, as a result of being trumped recently, placed a limit on monies to be invested internationally and that will delay more the hengshun funding of makhado(114m usd). so there go that idea for imminent cash. i am staying invested, but this will take more time and dilution( and once again i hope i am wrong). staying invested because of the potential. huge. good luck all
