Looks like a pretty good RNS to me.

Question is will we see a good rise or a sell on news reaction.

Well the ask has crept up but the advertised Bid is still 1p

It feels like we might get an RNS tomorrow.

Hopefully a good one.

Would be great to see it open nice and high then go on a bull run.

It feels like we are currently in a holding pattern.

Having had a good rise over the year the last month or so has been steady around 1p and feels like a lull before something big kicks off.

The RNS last week could have trigggered it but doesn't seem to be what the market was waiting for.

So maybe the next one will be the one.

It looks like someone has been loading up heavily and when they are done with another RNS showing strong grades this could be let go.

Could easily jump up to around £50m Mcap or a little over 3p a share even before a full estimate is released.

My whole watchlist looks pretty quiet today.

These big late reported buys look like someone is loading up nicely.

Mila may do well, but WSBN are likely to announce news soon and we could be sitting on millions of ounces of gold here for a stupendous rise.

I think we have to remember that the Assay results are only one indication of the potential here, and we will need more for a resource estimate to really push the SP up.

Good assay results could see a push back to 2p, which would be great but would need further good results and the resource estimate to get substantial gains.

If these assumptions are made: Gold at £3k per ounce, extraction costs of £1,800 per Oz, no increase in number of shares, and a 20% discount factor due to outside factors, and timing. Then the below resources estimates could result in full value being between £1.1bn and £3.5bn

1m oz = £1.15bn value or 38.2p a share

2m oz = £2.3bn or 76.4p

3m oz = £3.5bn or £1.15 a share.

This is actually different from the calculation I did the other day, tbh I can't recall what I did differently, but think I used $2k extraction costs but applied it as though it was £2k and may have discounted differently.

Either way. Assay results need to be good, but won't see huge gains until a resource estimate, which could be months away.

Just popped in as seen this cross ramped elsewhere this morning.

If these RNS are so good why is this not heading back up to the year high?

Was this news already priced in?

I hope that holders here see a nice rise and can get back to the value from earlier in the year, but just wanted to see why it didn't open 20-30% up and continue if the news is really great.

There's a lot of different things which need to be considered to value a company it's never quiet as simple as X Oz of gold x the gold price per Oz.

Current gold spot price is around $4,160 (at 16:47 21st Oct)

With the USD/GBP at £1 = $1.34

So around £3,100 per Oz.

Let's use the lower end of your range (I cba finding real potential numbers atm it's late in the day)

So say Wishbone has a total of 3m Oz (in the ground)

Theoretically this would be worth £9.3bn and an SP of around £3.08

Realistically gold in the ground had a value of substantially less than this, due to mining costs, transport costs, the use of estimates etc.

From what I can find online, the cost of gold in the ground was around $200 in 2024, with total extraction costs being around $2,000 per Oz.

Now the massive increases in the spot price are likely to significantly increase the in ground value, but extraction costs will also have increased.

So let's be conservative and say extraction costs are now at $3,000 (going back to £ that's £2,240

So 1oz in the ground would have a "worth" of £860 (ish)

Therefore 3m oz = £2.6bn value or a SP of 86p if that was fully equal to the companies Mcap.

Again this would be if everything happened instantaneously.

But in reality things take time etc etc and markets fluctuate and Mcap is based more on turnover annually and many other factors.

So it all depends on a lot of different variables.

Obviously if Wishbone got brought out at a value of the gold discovery then 86p a share would be awesome.

But it's likely the Mcap wouldn't reach the full value and even if it did it would be over a long time.

Therefore realistic goals of seeing a steady increase and good assay results would tend towards a value much lower than £1-£2.

Like I said, let's get above the recent placing, get some good assay details and see a move over 2p and onto 5p before we think about 10p ... 20p and 50p or higher.

It could get there, but not this year In my opinion.

(Don't rip my calculations apart to badly please this is all speculation)

Stupid targets don't help anything.

First we need to stabilise above the recent placing and then move forward with decent Assay results to a more realistic value.

2p is a reasonable short term target, pushing on to 4/5p if there's strong results from holes 2 and 3 again.

We could conceivably see higher than 5p over the next few months, but it could also stay around 1p if the results are worse than anticipated.

I'm hoping to see a rise into the RNS so when it hits we start at around 1.5p for a decent push past 2p.

So we are all hoping to see the Assay results very soon, and there are a lot of expectations that these will be very good news.

How much do people think may be "priced in" already?

It's disappointing to see the decline in SP over the last month, but this can easily be due to impatience of sellers jumping into other things short term.

I'm expecting a big rise towards the end of the week as it becomes more likely that results will be coming, but as always with the current market there may be a sell on news attitude when the RNS drops.

Really hope not though.

Would be great to see a big result and a lot of buyers coming back in.

One poster on a chat board can't be the reason the price has dropped...

What is said on here hardly makes an impact.

The MMs move the bid and ask to entice trades which will make them a good margin when they sell or buy them back to PI's.

They do drop to get stop losses and they rise to sell them back.

This dropped because the Friday RNS wasn't the assay results.

When they come this will soar.

It's amazing how much this fluctuates and the drop since Thursday's rise.

This should easily be heading towards 2p rather than 1p .

Hopefully they get the Assay results on an RNS soon and we can get a big day again to get to 2/3p

Today's RNS is great as it keeps news flowing and shows an intention to continue strongly.

The minerals found are a strong sign of what's to come and the massive potential here.

Today the MMs are gathering from the weak.

Monday they will sell it back a lot higher.

Well that's a lot of late trades being reported....

It has been a strong afternoon and looks set to continue tomorrow, but no one really knows until the bell.

Shame to see a lot of name calling and bickering on here.

The interview was very positive and will hopefully be followed by some good news via an RNS soon.

I thought maybe one tomorrow but I'm not convinced.

I'd be happy for no RNS tomorrow morning as that would prove those calling "raise coming" wrong and we would likely see a strong day consolidating around 1.5p or pushing higher if enough speculation that strong news is coming early next week.

2p by the weekend would be awesome, but staying over or near 1.5p is also great.
