It's got a little lower than my 0.16 prediction and a bit quicker than I thought as well.

But fingers crossed we get some news soon and a deal is signed.

Also hope the situation in Sudan improves and gets resolved swiftly.

What's your goal here?

Raising awareness of the terrible things happening in Sudan is fine, but anyone investing in Wildcat should already be aware of the political situation in the country.

You've been in these boards for 2 years, have 20 posts off which most are on Wildcat and all of those have been dedicated to saying it's worth nothing. Even before anything in Sudan this year.

It seems you have an agenda and are using the current situation to further it.

What's happening in Sudan is awful, and I really hope the UN can help resolve it, and protect innocent people there.

Wildcat may still be able to get an agreement with Sudan which will be good for both the country and wildcat going forward though, only time will tell.

My prediction is this:

Slow retreat to 0.16 this week

Gradual increase to 0.2 before news of the service agreement.

Service agreement signed RNS on Thursday 14th at 14:37

That morning it will have started to rocket and will finish the day at about 0.6

Then most likely a red Friday.

By the end of the year I think this will be at 1p

If the political situation in Sudan improves than it might be even higher.

Those are my finger in the air guesses.

I'm still unsure on the end potential here, but think that 1/1.5p should be reached.

I'll probably slice at some point, we all have our own targets.

But let's all hope to see that confirmation first.

Yeah, 1-1.5p only means a Mcap of around 25-37m which can be achieved purely on speculation on the AIM market.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it approaching 0.7 before an RNS, but think we might have missed that opportunity due to the speed ticket RNS issued last week which has spooked people (traders?).

As for the top end, one not sure tbh. I think currently let's hope the signatures are sorted and we break 1p, then see where the next steps go.

I'm currently around 90-95% confident about the signatures being done this year, but I am nervous about the political climate, although I do believe this will ease and that's when this deal will really shine.

I'm expecting that when (if) the deal is signed an RNS will be submitted pretty quickly and therefore it will be one during the day rather than a 7am one.

After looking further into this I can understand why people are concerned with the political climate in Sudan, but this will improve and does not have as much impact on the deal as some suggest.

Facts are that :

- Sudan have stated they are willing to sign

- CEO has been in country as recently as last week

- a remote site has been set up in Sudan

- The oil field is going to be renamed to Wildcat

My speculation atm is that the contract is drafted and the lawyers are putting the final touches on it. This isn't a quick process a lot of the time.

It's expected to be signed before the end of the year, and I believe it will be.

Closed periods for purchase are normally due to reporting financial results rather than having ongoing negotiations on contracts. Otherwise businesses would have to stop their business operations just so board members and senior management could buy shares.

The time between signing and an RNS might also be closed (can't find something to confirm this though) but not while waiting to sign.

Currently they will take all 2.6mil of my shares for 0.218

This is great, as it shows they want a decent number of shares.

It looks like as hard as the MMs tried they couldn't get this to retrace as far as the doomsayers expected.

The clarification last night was just that. A clarification that the deal wasn't signed yet. It was not a cancellation of the agreement which has been reached, just a statement of fact that the signatures aren't on the paper yet.

This deal is very close to being finalised and there has already been steps towards it (new set up in Sudan).

Nothing is 100% but I feel this is at least 97.68976% there and once an RNS comes with the contract signed this will rerate substantially.

Not sure if it will reach as high as some say this year, but over 1/2p is likely.

I think all that's happened is that the RNS came across badly which is what the MMs wanted, and the majority of people actually looked further into the details and found everything that points towards the deal being "in the bag".

I reckon that by the 15th December we will have signed confirmation and this will rerate substantially.

Do your own research. The Sudan deal is agreed, a new location has been set up in Sudan, the field is changing name to "wildcat". The only thing atm is that the contract is still being reviewed (most likely by lawyers on both sides), but this will get signed and soon.

When it's signed you'll not see anywhere near 0.2 anymore.

Yes my opinion is still Strong buy.

They have clarified that nothing is signed, but that Sudan are prepared to sign a deal.

This indicates that an agreement is in place and the Lawyers are working on the contract to get it all lined up.

My view is the MMs will drop the price on open and weak traders will sell at a loss. Causing a further drop.

But this is manufactured by an RNS which is only stating a factual point that nothing is technically signed.

When news lands that the paperwork has been completed this will rerate and those that sold will be left behind.

Hold and buy on dips if you can. DYOR

Very interesting to see that RNS.

I'm not too concerned about the blockchain stuff tbh not sure if I should be.

But it concerns me about the wording of the rest, making it clear nothing has been signed yet.

I think that the market will take this badly and tomorrow will be a big red day unfortunately.

It still looks likely that there will be a signed deal soon, but I guess they felt they needed to clarify things due to the movement, and as we all know the MMs and derampers will ounce on that.

I've moved a few things around and purchased a couple million shares today, started looking at this 2 days ago and should have got in earlier, but still average under 0.25p

If this gets to 1p I'd be very happy. If it takes off like some suggest I'd be ecstatic.

A closed period is normally defined by the time before releasing quarterly or annual financial statements.

There may still be deals in the pipeline that are being worked on and near completion , as to when they get signed and announced, it's anyone's guess.

But to say that there's nothing due soon because of directors buying is ludicrous, as otherwise companies would have to stop sales to ensure theres nothing pending to allow director buys...

That's not the case. It may be that nothing is currently signed and awaiting an imminent RNS, but there could be something change later this week, or next week.

Still a lot of potential here, and the director buys show confidence.

Personally I think the oil price has started to stabilise and will only see increases over what is probably going to be a cold winter.

I've stuck a bit in here at 10p as it seemed already very undervalued. Hoping for a reasonable return if the market becomes more buoyant soon.

Currently it just looks like we need some news / update with news to come soon so that we get more than 2-3 trades a day for a couple hundred shares each...

Yeah, I doubt they will be funding at the current share price while they have a reasonable revenue stream.
