That information is incorrect, the ex dividend date is Thursday the 9th of May. The dividend amount is €0.16.
Its hardly enough to get excited about, yet I'd say you could pick up the shares now not see the 16c pull back in the price on the 9th

I'm seeing over 35% returns so far, and yet its still undervalued when you compare it to the likes of Glanbia or Kerry group

Will be interesting to see if they are still on-track earnings wise. Currently at today's share price if you were to combine this year s dividend and next years projected divi of 0.22c that would give a return of over 7% for 13 months.
Surly this is a better buy than Bonds.

Cryptos are more like a ponzi scheme at the moment. The current valuations are absurd. But IBM is a good company, I would never write them off.
As for Bank of Ireland, lets see how well they can recover in 2019. 7 euro is do-able. 8 euro would be an amazing return on investment here

I think IBM Blockchain world wire is going to eventually take a great big chunk of all these Worldpay and Swift transactions. Made an announcement yesterday to no big foray yet it is going to be really big

I'm still in buy mode here, this should rise very fast once Brexit goes off the radar. Looking back on past performance we got a ?1.70 price rise in less than 3 months from Nov 2017 to Feb 2018. I think this time it will rise faster and we could hit ?7 before this goes ex-divi on May 9th

I had an alert set up but didn't think it would happen. Now I'm thinking this could go down much further.
Tolan's job is starting to look shaky now. I think he has a few months left to turn this around or it will be the door for hi too.
Its a weak buy for me at this stage, the fund raising may do the trick but as we still have too much uncertainty

It doesn't matter how big the fund manager is, and usually the bigger the company the more dead wood it carries. I'm sure they are not taking the selling of Bank of Ireland shares as if it was nothing. Someone in Capital has made poor judgement. Bank of Ireland are not involved in reckless lending, the Brexit factor is overdone. This is now a well run Bank yet the share price is at 2013 levels now.
Dividend payments make this share a better investment than Government bonds. I see many years ahead of healthy dividend and share price growth.

Well I`m a buyer at this price. Added more today but my cash position is getting smaller. I wonder how much further this can go down as I'd like to buy a few more.<br />I think Capital group must have there own problems and need to exit this.

Also what are peeps thoughts on the Divi, will it be higher than €0.12 this year. They did say it would in the past.

Dipped my toes in here this week. I had looked at this bank a few months ago and thought Brexit would continue to weigh heavily on the price. But at current prices it would be rude not to take some of those Capital shares
My view now is that we are gone so low here that it will be a great recovery play . A recovery to the upside of €8 is a 60% gain. Not impossible if Brexit gets sorted. ;)

They operate in a niche and very lucrative markets. I think they have close to 40 new drug / new drug use studies in the pipeline. I am holding this too :)

The uncertainty is already priced into the share price. This bank is making a profit of close to €1 billion. Irish economy is booming despite Brexit with annual growth rates heading for over 4%.
I think a no deal is on the cards now. The EU has already indicated that it will support sectors of the Irish economy in the form of Export refunds etc. This indicates to me that the EU are not going to do a deal. The Irish economy is only a very small fraction of the EU and will be supported by the EU during a transition.
It will be interesting to see what happens to workers from the UK coming into Dublin and surrounding areas every day, will they have to get visas to work in the EU? or will they even be allowed?
