If Scotland does go independent expect severe market falls, Brexit will be like a tea party in comparison. Having lived and worked in Finland, Denmark, Austria, and Holland countries that do not have the natural resources that the Scots have and yet they all have a high standard of living why would the Scots not get that also? Commonsense needs to be put into gear here on this subject, so why would these countries be successful and not them? If they are such a burden why is Westminster so terrified of them becoming independent? One thing is certain they will demand the removal of Faslane nuclear base and tell England to put it somewhere else to where I will leave that to your imagination. Take out price could be much more that. Resource valued at only 25% of asset and if further 75% of acreage is just as productive this takeout price will be much higher.
