Called for an update and then we get a long one.

News regarding Boots clearly coming however Penny continues to demonstrate a positive outlook whilst alerting a slowdown in Covid sales that was expected.

The key is the future and the past Covid revenues has paved the way without the need to raise further cash.

Just over 40m shares as from tomorrow on the market.

So today we have the AGM and tomorrow the new shares will begin trading with a 15-1 consolation.

Will penny further update the market as regards the Boots and Lloyds plans !

The fact is we seen what happens if the shares get news the other day but we also seen the other side how quick it can fall back when the the RNS relating to Boots was issued.

The fact is if Penny is seriously trying to achieve her objective in stability or increasing the share price she needs to demonstrate her ability to get the contracts signed off.

Her ambition was always the wellness market and she needs to execute her plan and deliver for shareholders especially LTHs who are at a loss. I’m also interested to hear if the company intends to make any acquisitions etc although it’s not essential given the direction we’re heading and the cash position.

Overall not a bad day. I felt the RNS from Penny was strange because people only speculated because Boots factually updated their website so don’t see the need for the RNS really.

I do however expect confirmation shortly and then Lloyds. I also expect news about consolidation and the 10% buyback etc.

Mhc need to update the markets given WHO’s report. Fact is people will buy Covid tests for reasons of safety to love ones etc. However Penny has the perfect opportunity to put the news out there to support the price and give reassurance as regards contracts etc. Hardly any transactions today so Will interesting to see what happens after consolidation. However all LTHs are definitely dissatisfied by the lack of news. I think and hope it’s worth the wait.

I personally think this update has a massive meaning of intention and Penny is clearly focused on services that are geared towards the B2B and Doctors and surgeries using MHC services could be a huge revenue stream that wouldn’t require much In marketing costs etc once in place. This could be the first update in many over the next month I feel. Consolidation and news on new tests and contracts with Lloyds and Boots also imminent.
Also we’ve held the 50DMA so I’m quite optimistic we will push North as the market digests the potential for revenue if Penny provides further updates soon.

I personally think if you say shortly in January and then reiterate it following results three weeks ago then it’s reasonable to expect news imminently otherwise these markets will punish you

I read something about this company on the ADVFN site. Does anyone else know anything about them!.

Three years ago Penny made it clear her focus’ was on wellness testing and that Covid revenue was always a means to help us get there. The company diversified from PCR testing to LFT testing to prolong revenue as long as possible to ensure a capital raise wasn’t needed so I also give the board credit for that .
I do believe the board could have done more by buying shares over the years because the number of purchases has been minimal in my opinion.
I also believe that given Penny stated in January she was looking forward to updating us about contracts SHORTLY it’s been over three months so not very short really.
I hope like others the wait is worth it because looking at Tesco and H&B it’s clear other retailers will follow the trend. First mover advantage is usually a positive thing so hopefully we’re not the last to the party.
This market has shown patience and recent price rise suggests they are slowly becoming warmer on MHC but news us 100% needed as sentiment can change quickly. I just Hope Penny UBS’s news very soon.

Either way we need the board to confirm something given Penny’s optimism in the meeting recently.
I’m an optimist but based on your views then chemists like Boots and Lloyds also have the powers to negotiate the terms so whether Lloyds, Boots or a supermarket we have to get products on the shelves and deals done

Good to hear from you but given we are in a sector that is growing I feel we would have the ability to negotiate better terms and the fact we would be in the public’s face with minimal costs is worth a reduced margin. This enables us to use our capital elsewhere so it’s a fine balancing act. Our Covid revenue will definitely decrease so preserving our cash to fulfill our strategy without the need for a further capital raise is important I think. Once we know what sort of revenue is coming through from new new products we would be in a stronger position but firstly we need to be in a position to get deals done. If by chance we were to make an acquisition we would be in a stronger place with a higher share price if we needed to raise cash.

I had been calling for us to do a deal with the likes of Tesco for many months only to hear they tied up with someone else. I hope MHC board realises large supermarkets and stores such as B&M etc won’t wait as they wish to find more ways of increasing revenue in a growth market. Sainsbury or Aldi could offer great potential still but we need to be more pro active as competitors will seize the opportunity first. Getting products in customers face reducing the need advertising is a good strategy to maintain costs whilst expanding.
Hopefully the board has something for us soon
