I don’t recall house price’s going up. I remember buying my first one at 20% cheaper than asking price.

All builders will prove to be cheap at some point but my guess is when interest rates stop rising.

As I said it’s not investing anymore it gambling but good luck if your but more.

Who knows what happens but more rate rises expected so I’d guess it do t help house builders unless the government are going to buy the houses to house people they force out there homes with higher interest rates.

I’ve not advised anyone to buy or not to buy but I think you’re clearly making your own call.

All the best but the situation with interest rates is what it is any hopefully any dividends will help you if there not cut

It’s simple tactics to kill housing demand and prices fall.

Then supply outstrips demand and people get on the housing ladder with less deposits needed etc.

Builders build less to prevent erasing margins so demand for labour decreases.

Recession follows and inflation falls.

Then the government says

“We’ve gone to far and slashed rates”

The cycle starts again and most investors are shafted and on huge losses while fund managers buy distressed shares.

Best stick your money in a higher interest account because investing ain’t investing anymore it’s gambling

Well hopefully it comes good but these days you can’t really understand fundamentals because loss making companies fly and profitable ones fall.

The boards silence ain’t helping

How has MHC lost over 40% of its value recently despite having 21 products in Boots and relatively strong results last time round!

My guess is the lack of news flow and no Director buys haven’t been received well by the markets.

I personally hope the update offers more than just information on the products but also hopefully MHC can announce new contracts with retailers and news on the B2B2C. To really ramp up revenue I feel you can’t just have all your eggs in one Basket which is where we are at with Boots alone.

I’ve been buying and to be honest probably a we bit over exposed because I do believe the company has a great strategy and delivering on many fronts.

That said no one knows 100% and and anything can happen so it’s personal risk’s really and many have been burnt.

On another note is was just reading how black and ethnic people are more likely to develop prostate cancer so would MHC be onto a winner with a PSA test!.

The markets ripe for expansion in my opinion. I just hope we continue to deliver and remain debt free in this rising interest rate environment.

A dividend wouldn’t be a bad idea also as most want a Return on risk for investing in my opinion

Let’s hope because they didn’t step when the shares went to 4p years ago. Lucky they had the American arm to sell to bail them out.

Sorry the government only care about inflation.

Amazingly 39% ain’t helped the majority well under water but one must remain optimistic.

Let’s see how it pans out with update due. The whole market is a total mess so update has to be extremely good in my opinion to create momentum

GDR does have the ability to rise significantly as recently shown when it flew to 40p.

Many on here were shouting the likes of me for saying it’s advisable to to take profits if possible.

I now think GDR is offering exceptional risk reward value.i If it delivers good news it good move higher rapidly but in a market like this news is needed but then look at SYME which done the treble on no news!

Fingers crossed for LTH but may be a good top up opportunity

Zak predicted this would hit highs of 40p but it slid to 16p!

Now he’s saying 22p in 2 weeks!

This don’t help us long term investors but it may be an indicator of a good entry level at these prices.

We shall see but momentum and large buying needed.

News also needed in my opinion but staying optimistic

I also believe a trading update is due next month.

I do think they May surprise with more deals done. They clearly have a template to work from with boots contract.

As investors we have to balance risk reward and that clearly favours new investors who are buying because LTHs probably feel a tab bitter really. They invested a few years ago at much higher prices with no products only to see over 20 products arrive and the share price get ripped to pieces. By the way I’m an LTH so speaking from experience but I’m of the view not to be bitter because market sentiment has changed but to follow the fundamentals and hopefully new contracts and a positive update may see us finally start to move.

The fact is most investors are now in the hands of the board because only really positive news appears to help us head North.

I think to get this share really moving the board need to announce more contracts with retailers etc and maybe a deal with Lloyds who currently sell Covid products so hopefully it wouldn’t be so difficult to do that deal.

I personally feel they must know this a hoping they are negotiating new ones given that Boots appears to selling the new products. At what rate we don’t know but I’m sure it’s going to plan.

Until then I’m not sure we get the recovery that most need to break even including my self.

I guess it’s all in the boards hands but as I say not many debt free companies around and cash is king in this environment of rising interest rates.

I also believe it would help if the board were to buy but are we due an update shortly! Maybe they are unable to.

As you said 20s don’t help many and 30s needed really but 20s would be a start. I do believe sometimes we have to take advantage of pull backs though.
