I'm up 30%. Perfect timing. Appreciate the low market cap issues ito liquidity, I'm not planning on selling anytime soon as 2024 is the year for gold.

SHG has great prospects but unfortunately the share price is range bound which makes it dead money imo. Very disappointing - I'd finally identified a winner and then AIM did what it usually does and screwed over the little guy!

I think production numbers are going to look as if we only have Yan, for some time, given how little they're getting from Kou.

Do they have a legal obligation to shareholders to consider a counter offer? If the counter offer is higher, do they have an obligation to accept it over the current, pathetic offer?

If not, I can't see them entertaining any such offers. They might even lie to prospective offerers to put them off, given how much of a steal this is for Patel

What difference does the price of gold make?

Is SHG effectively dead money until the voting date in 6 months time? Why would anyone buy in now when they can presumably buy in for a very similar price in a few months time?

I appreciate the need for risk management, I just wish they were better at actual delivery ito production.

To be fair, volumes are so light that you can't but a huge amount for below the placing price, or the NED would presumably have bought 1m worth in the open market.

That's the only silver lining, really: that those closer to the coalface are willing to stump up considerable amount of money at a price above the current SP.

But as we see at SHG, the minute this actually becomes a success, there will be a takeover and retail shareholders will be left breaking even at best

It's laughable. There was 1000oz from the first gold pour in Q3, and in the first two months of Q4, only 2000oz.

No wonder they're hedging so little or their production! They genuinely aren't sure if they will produce enough to hedge any more! Q1 with Yan and Kou could look like Q1 23 when it was just Yan! 25koz from both mines together.

They only produced 8674oz at Yan over October and November, an annual run rate of 52k. Yikes. No way they EVER reach 200k unfortunately.

Q1 next year is gong up look very scary imo.

Wow, that's even worse than expected! They were estimating 10000oz from Kou not so long ago! Not they are anticipating 2000 in December a VERY long way off 10k per month. Deary me.

And now they anticipate full production "in Q1" rather than from the start of the year. Also note that in FY24 they aim to achieve a production profile of 200kozpa, which means they no longer anticipate actually producing that much. It just means at some point (probably after Q1, given how useless they are) they will hit the rate required to eventually achieve 200kozpa.

A woeful update. Does anyone actually think they'll hit 10koz per month in Q1?? Surely not. I highly doubt they will ever meet targets, and the debt repayment schedule will get pushed out.
