emotionally attached investors who think Bond will deliver . It’s sad how out of touch you guys are with reality - wake up !

EPL is being increased to 35% until 2028 taking the total taxation to a whopping 75% !.
The question lingering in my mind is will this taxation be offset by investment relief encouraging companies to invest in the basin ?

Looking at the BBC website EPL is projected to increase to 35% until 2028 . Jog are estimated to produce first oil 2025 .
I know the govt recently have made some pretty poor decisions surely they can’t be relying on the Uk to rely on Imports over the next 30 years !

For a successful FO a company expects a stable tax regime otherwise they won't sign on the dotted line. The management of Jog are very poor in communicating with shareholders and I hope they read these posts so that they can reflect on their shortfalls .

There is so much negativity in the media towards the government . Rishi not going to Cop and the king not going either has ignited a campaign from the vile Greta fans . There is also talk about putting a stop to new licenses in the NS as this goes against climate change, can the govt do that ?. In the meantime Jeremy hunt is exploring the possibility of increasing WFT to 78% same as Norway . There is a lot of uncertainty and I doubt we will get any news until after the chancellor’s statement on the 17th . I’m still holding and like most of you here hoping for a positive outcome .
