I never said the Conservative members had no right to pick a party leader that then would take on the post of Prime Minister.
I know they are fully within the rules to do,there is nothing wrong, illicit or illegal about it whatsover.
But when 160k members,1 in 400 of the population, effectively appoint the leader of our Political system it does little for democracy or unity.
Imposition is indeed wrong but ignoring semantics it is entirely accurate.Good job a Kangaroo is not standing, you would of course still be technically correct but look rather stupid.
The end product of having an PM that less 1/4 % of the people voted for is irrational and rules are there to broken.
Get real.
