Never stated otherwise and repeat that Lloyds Made 15.36% more in the first 6 months of this year 2017 than it did in the first 6 months of Last year 2016.An excellent in crease in my opinion.When this full years figures are provided in feb`2018 comparisons can be made but only then. I don`t mean to be obtuse but a half year,which you refer to twice and I agree,is a period of 6 months. Now a comparison between the full year of 2017 and the full year of 2016 would be 12 months and be stated as an annual increase. Hope this will suffice. Good luck.James

6 months figures is the 15%. The compound increase for two and a half years(5 TIMES 6 MONTHS)is 202%.If 15% is compounded every 6 months(not annually)gives 202%. 100%x15%X15%X15%x!5%x15%=202% First 6month has already given 15%,therefore only 4X6 months still required i,e.,2 years. Please note i said 15% rise if sustained and never stated "Annual Increase". I respectfully ask what was written. Anyway good Company and i hope you do well. Cheers James.

Apologies,one thing in particular i should have mentioned from the 6 month figures is the 15% rise,if sustained the compound increase for two and a half years is 202%.Meaning the value of this Company would double in 2 years. i do my own ADV 2 and to put it mildly these results are excellent.I see we still have profit takers and good luck to them. This share just keeps getting better and better. GLA

People have twigged, since times got harder family`s shop with a list to stop impromptu buying.It ain`t just Aldi and Lidl,people are going to B&M and pound shop and such like where they pay circa 60% of Sainsbury and then go to Aldi or Lidl and then the remainder is bought in the SBRY. They simply cannot compete on price.eg,1.75 ltr Coke cost SBRY £ 1.73-Local Spar £1.00. Come on customers deserve respect. Shareholders sell,sell and sell.

investing.Given the recent growth in European Countries i sometimes feel i would like the offer to fail.I feel by the end of next year we could be at £12/13 anyway.People complain about the cost of some Sports,have they heard what PSG are paying for Neymar over the next 5 years.I wish the guy the very best but an injury could make him very,very expensive. Anybody ever think Qatar could buy the lot.Some are well aware of this like norrab who would happily pay £20 a share if he had to. SKy to me is a real winner.REmember buy and hold and hold.Give Bradley another 9 months and she will come up with a answer.Of course it took Cameron all of 20 minutes to resign.Patience means profit.
