Nice summary, BBN. This has been an "unlucky" company, what with the JV coming to nothing and the bad drill location of the first well. They have pulled off a good one, getting a 4th well this campaign. I'm "well" happy with that. Hopefully the new seismic they bought will prevent future fiascos.

It is inevitable that RRE will get involved, if only for the unitisation of Serenity/Tain, but I think that RRE will be eyeing Serenity greedily. If we get Liberator producing next year, then we will have the development cash to tell them to get stuffed, but it is possible they will bid for us before then. They are throwing off cash like crazy and Serenity is just so synergistic with their business and infrastructure. It is worth more to them than anyone else.

I should have trusted my gut feeling. For a long time Brian seemed to me to be giving off mixed signals, e.g. at the Deep Dive and at Sound investor events. I picked up on his negativity but did not act on it, hoping that the long years holding this share would pay off.

1. WHY THE **** didn't we drill TE-11 when we had the money?
2. WHY THE **** didn't we push on with Sidi?

I am aware of PIs who have asked these questions a long time ago and were fobbed off with "It'll be all right on the night" comments.

Anyone know when Carapa spudded and how long it is expected to take?

In this market, it will be disappointing.

The delay is because planning decisions are in purdah during a GE. Not the inspectors choice.

In theory, Sidi Moktar is worth more than 7p. I will never understand why they didn't proceed with that. Once upon a time they had a farm out for it, albeit with a dodgy Russian outfit.

That if there were no offers at all, or no offers close to being acceptable, that they would have to RNS that? They have said the process is ongoing, after all.
