Saint forgive my ignorance - do paper shares exist individually from an account, even if it's a tax free haven?

How can the issue of who holds the shares be so difficult to resolve? Surely they were held in a trading account with a name on it, whether or not it was possibly managed by a third party

Dattabase - I know who the Azov regiment are and I've seen films about rogue Ukraine militias operating in Donbas 8 or 9 years ago. I know there is propaganda and violence on both sides.

What Putin is doing by unleashing all of his military force is still horrific - it will take generations to repair, possibly never. If you can't see that you really are blind.

Try thinking about how the words "such restraint" can be used to refer to a land invasion, ceaseless bombing and the illegal imposition of collective punishment on an entire nation. Thermobaric bombs, landmines, abduction of children, targeting of hospitals.

What would constitute a lack of restraint?

Putin already used polonium over here so plus there is the list of oligarchs who got on the wrong side of him so it's not a new picture.

This one is more likely to backfire on him at home, it shows he was afraid of a leader who could actually get voted in. Putin may not be bothered about the body bags coming back from Ukraine but his voters are and will not support endless mobilisation and propaganda when you get killed for dissent at home

The tumbleweed of the number of trades shows it's a waiting game, nothing to stop low bids. Legal stuff works slow and if it's a consortium sale that won't speed it up...it'll get there in the end

Since then the tax case has been won and NDAs wouldn't cover an update on those discussions. The "Buyer" in the time of the FSP (who presumably aborted upon the start of Ukraine) was described as having completed DD and NDAs didn't cover that.

I'd rather get details of which counterparties are at the table, if they are in the process of DD and when a conclusion is likely to be made.

These are all mentioned in previous RNS so I don't see why they couldn't be updated

I think predicting what Russia is going to do is quite foolish. One certainty is there which is if the US doesn't stump up the next round of support it will change the game and really who knows how much of a bloodbath it wil be.

I'd rather lose all my money than WW3 kicks off and we have quite a convincing preamble to it right now. We should all be grateful we can have a go at each other on a BB instead of getting a letter saying forget Christmas you're off to the frontline

When I first bought my shares here I had a limit - I knew it was a risk so I put in what I could afford. From there I took profits and bought more then Ukraine happened. It's left my core capital down for quite a while now but the market operates aggressively and you have to suck that up. Why sell now when the upside is still there in proven reserves? I do think it could be 2-3 years before I actually get a dividend as the war will rumble on.

Have we been sent out to fight? No. Is the perpetual brain damage of your running commentary worth reading? No. Please get a life
