Hi all, if anyone remembers about liberos emails a few of us sent, I have just had a reply from Chika I'm sure she doesn't mind me showing to fellow shareholders. Thank you to her!;
Good evening,
Thank you for getting in touch, and on behalf of the Board and management thank you for your continued support for Bushveld.
Thank you also for your suggestions, I can offer some responses, but clearly cannot presage any changes to any Bushveld strategy or policy that would contravene listing rules.
With regards to RNS announcements, you will appreciate that all announcements have to serve all audiences, from retail investors to professional mining specialist investors, to equity research analysts, to media, industrial partners and other stakeholders.
What you may not appreciate is that each announcement requires attention from all of Bushveld’s executive and non-executive directors; senior management; operational employees; administrative staff in our corporate offices; the Company’s brokers; the Company’s PR advisers; the Company’s lawyers; and frequently outside parties such as industrial partners, and frequently the lawyers, brokers, advisers etc. working for those counterparties.
The Company is satisfied that it is reporting in a manner consistent with continuous disclosure rules and in a manner that keeps shareholders well informed. In accordance with market regulations, we release all price sensitive information without delay, rather than wait for quarterly updates. When a company starts making several bite-sized announcements about events that are non-material or do not constitute price-sensitive inside information, it may become ambiguous as to whether there will be a reporting obligation going forward. Bushveld is no longer an exploration Company and seeks to act as a dynamic, responsible producer with many stakeholders.
With regards to the Company’s website – it is updated periodically and investors will appreciate that the most up to date information is in the News section. Rest assured that the website will be updated in the future as it has been in the past. In addition we are satisfied with the structure of the website as it reflects the business at present and the current Bushveld Energy website is focused on deployments. We may restructure our websites in future if our views change.
Similarly the Company is happy with its name and the balance it provides between our mining and energy businesses.
We have looked into Reuters' uranium classification, and we could not see such classification based on the access that we are granted. We have contacted Reuters, requesting that they check and update their records accordingly. – thank you for highlighting that point.
We truly value your feedback, which I have shared with senior management.
Kind regards,
Chika
