Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Pre drill, the B1 conductor was interpreted to dip at a 60 degree angle, post drill, it is now interpreted to be dipping at a much more shallow angle, and is smaller in size. The question has to be asked, how can they be so far out with the geologic model ? From a 60 degree cross formational target to a smaller , almost horizontal target, which the drill bit missed ?
Since the start of this drilling campaign the interpretation and plans have constantly changed. The original plan was to drill target area A and then target area C. That changed to area A followed by area B. We had DHEM problems due to the casing, holes were deepened to test proterozoic rocks, geologic models changed etc.
A months delay with no update is hard to forget.
What is the arrangement with Mindea ? Are they still taking half cash half equity ? Did KAV perform more TDEM at Ditau? What about a second drill rig ?...no news on any of these in the last update.
Drilling commenced way back in July 2021, well over 8 months later and we have still not received one assay ! A few pics of drillcore, constantly changing diagrams and constantly changing plans is not good enough.
Perhaps KAV should have went after the lower risk LVR and KCB first instead of the more expensive and riskier KSZ?....hindsight eh .
Regarding Molopo Farms project, at least there is proven nickel mineralisation there with assays reported by POW. So far from the KSZ, nothing.
Before I get slaughtered on here, I know that the KSZ is virgin territory, ground conditions can be difficult and plans change as drilling progresses etc. etc. Yet, many investors are now loosing trust in KAV and a belief in the KSZ.
My finger has been hovering over the sell button since the B1 drill update. I will see what the next updates bring.
Good luck to all investors.

I was thinking about the Siemens readings for conductor B1.
The original reading was 8200 Siemens, then , after the dhem was conducted down to 350 metres, the reading was measured at 11000 Siemens.
So can we assume that a reading at the surface will always be lower than the true conductivity reading at depth. Also, do Siemens readings increase the nearer you get to the target ?
The target in target area A had a reading of 2500 / 3000 Siemens, so could this be higher?
I am asking this because going forward we will probably have many more Siemens readings reported for targets identified from tdem surveys.
We currently have drills turning in Victoria Australia and about to start at Haneti Tanzania.
Ben Turney of KAV has said that as soon as the current hole in the KSZ is completed, which should be within the next 2 weeks, the drill rig will be moved immediately to drill the I10 target at Ditau. That will be 3 potentially company making projects being drilled simultaneously.
Will the KCB be drilled after Ditau or will a second rig be contracted to speed things up?
Plus, Tati assays due soon....all for 1.5p per share.

Regarding Tati, the recent drill programme consisted of 23 holes for 1092 metres.
This averages at 47 metres per hole. Some will be deeper, up to 100 metres, some shallower.
If we get any decent gold / nickel grades it would be great news being so close to surface.

Haneti has always been one of my favourite projects in POW's portfolio.
I must admit I was a little disappointed at the lack of detail from the previous drill campaign late 2020 early 2021. Also, the long period of time where there was no news on the project.
I think there may be a few majors keeping an eye on this one. All it will take is one good drill assay and it's game on for POW and KAT.
I had a good very feeling about this project over a year ago, and I still do.
Kisinka in the DRC is another project that needs to be drilled. A 6km long copper anomaly. We can be sure that Paul Johnson has not forgotten about this . Perhaps later in 2022 when a few ipo's are out of the way ?
JP2000, I was wondering the same myself regarding nickel and copper.
We have had a number of visible copper intercepts reported, but as far as I can recall, there has been no mention of nickel. Can nickel sulfides even be visibly identified from drill core?
Obviously nickel would be preferable to copper, however,a high grade copper orebody would still be a great discovery, plus other valuable metals at lower grades.
We are still awaiting results from Tati, Athabasca and Authier.News is never far away with POW.
We could get these results anytime before Christmas.
There is so much going on here, IPOs next year, drilling of Ditau, KCB, Victoria goldfields and Haneti, plus the addition of new projects to the portfolio, 2022 is going to be one busy year for POW.
This was posted yesterday on twitter...."After what we’ve seen so far from Equity Drilling/Mindea, we’re excited for what’s to come"This was in reference to drilling at Ditau. So, are KAV referring to the expertise of Equity Drilling/ Mindea, or to the potential of what's already been recovered so far at KSZ?KAV are certainly eager to begin drilling the I10 target at Ditau in the new year, something is exciting them about this target, something they have not made public yet?
