The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Firstly, I did not expect the results so soon after last weeks rns. The drill was at 445m depth, the start of the conductive body was due at 505 and I thought the drill would continue to 600m depth or more which would take another 1 or 2 weeks!
In my opinion, after the drill encountered the 25m mudstones, and then drilled on to 520m with no further conductive material, it was interpreted that the mudstones were the conductive body identified by geophysics.
There was no mention of what the 505m to 520m zone consisted of.
There is a chance that a conductive body may lie below, but then we would have a problem with geophysics accuracy.
There was no mention of nickel sulphide.
Did the 169m ultramafic zone show as a conductive zone on geophysics ?
Lots of questions, but it is early days yet. This first hole will provide a lot of info for the geologists, and who knows, it may surprise us with some unexpected results yet !...gl all
inexorably heading towards 1 billion + shares in issue...the one fly in the ointment for POW.
I presume some, but not all, of these warrant shares are being sold a few days after issue...and the proceeds being reinvested to buy more warrants ?
Agreed, and if MFC drill disappoints, there are 3 more drill holes planned.
Also, news on Haneti is due, for anyone thinking of investing in POW, my advice would be to invest before the Haneti drill starts.
Has anyone any thoughts on the recent announcement by POW that they are going to at least maintain and possibly increase their holding in KKME ?....during a drill program ?
we all know that MFC could be huge for POW, IF we hit economic mineralisation.
Haneti could also be huge. I think the exploration risk is slightly greater with MFC than Haneti. Both projects are district scale.
What gives me great hope for MFC is that there has been numerous hi tech surveys done and they all gave exciting results. The geologists are highly experienced and from what we hear, they appear to be very excited about these targets. The drill targets themselves are very well defined and have been referred to in some reports as super conductors !
Personally, I would love to see POW increase their % stake in Haneti. Paul Johnson will be keeping a close eye on this project and the costs involved. He is most definitely not in this for the lifestyle element and will look after POW investors interests.
Hopefully we will get an update on Haneti soon. This project is a potential company maker and it has already attracted the interest of other parties.
We should also expect another drilling update on MFC, the drill bit should be at the
interesting zones by now, I have a good feeling about this one !
I have a feeling that 2.24p you paid could look very cheap before year end.
We have 4 planned drill holes in the MFC, any one of those could turn out to be a company maker, plus we have at least 11 other targets besides these! MFC could be huge.
Silver Peak drilling is about to kick off. While it will not be a company maker in itself, it is nevertheless an exciting project which could turn out to be a very nice little earner for us with rising silver prices.
Haneti drilling is at pre mobilisation stage, and make no mistake about it, Haneti could be huge, a company maker, just like MFC. Hopefully drilling will start soon, possibly a number of weeks but hopefully at least before year end.
There are of course no guarantees but the risk v reward here is excellent...in my opinion !
CorbyDealer, I think the 0.014 refers to 1.4p not .14p or .014p.
Not sure why they were once so high, different assets, management etc. ?.a lot can change in a few weeks on AIM, not to mention a few years!
Regarding POW v UFO, I am no expert on UFO, only quickly researched them and decided the potential was good but not as good as POW. They also have a lot more shares issued which put me off investing there.
On a personal level, I have not been actively investing for the past 6 or 7 years at least.
I first started investing in AIM companies around 2005 / 2006 and stopped around 2012 / 2013.
I only started investing again last April or May, so I am no expert on POW's history from African Battery Metals days or before that as Sula Iron and Gold.
As I started my research on AIM companies, POW stood out immediately as one to invest in.
It's aggressive attitude towards acquiring interests in projects and the huge potential of the projects themselves to be life changing stood out for me.
However, the most important factor for me was the management, Paul Johnson's passion, openness and attitude is, in my experience, unique amongst AIM companies.
His desire to keep costs and salaries to a minimum, to put out regular updates and his willingness to personally communicate with investors at any time are highly commendable.
Not to mention his personal investment in the company.."skin in the game"
Good luck to all POW and UFO investors !
I would like to see a little more information on the MFC drill program and targets.
More detailed maps showing locations, sizes, depths etc. of the targets would be very interesting and give us some idea of the potential at MFC.
Good positive update from Paul, all going according to geologic model.
Haneti is still at the pre mobilisation stage, probably lots going on, rig availability, site access, permits, covid etc.
My guess would be a few more weeks before drilling commences at Haneti.
I thought we would bget a drilling update today, could still happen.
if Carlsberg done CEO's......
We will soon have three drill programmes running. Two of which, Molopo Farms and Haneti, could be huge. What an exciting company to own shares in.
I have huge respect and trust in Paul Johnson to deliver results.
I had been hoping over the past couple of months that this share could be life changing for me, it is beginning to look like it will be !.....good luck all
interest is definitely increasing here, number of trades and volumes traded are a lot higher than usual.
The next couple of weeks / months could be transformational for POW.
We have multiple chances of drilling a discovery...it could even be more than 1 !
POW could become another GGP, MTR or EUA....that would be life changing and I do not want to miss that opportunity.....gl to all
dsfat, agree with you, I was looking to increase my small holding in KAV.
However, because of this joint venture between POW and KAV, my holding in POW will now expose investors to the huge potential upside from Kavango's licences , without any further expenditure.
Great work PJ.
For POW, It's not about production, it's about discovery.....
My apologies, was working off memory, there is a lot to keep up with when you are invested in POW.
And it's not just 7 shots on goal, within some of our projects we have multiple shots on goal.
At Molopo Farms Complex we will be drilling four of the highest priority targets and that is 4 from a choice of 17 targets ! ..some of these other 13 are also viable drill targets, it is just that we are drilling the best of the best.
The 4 targets to be drilled at MFC are completely independent of each other. Each of these could be a mining project in their own right. We have 4 shots on goal here alone, just one successful drill result could be company making....who knows, we may have 2 or 3 or more successful drill results !
At Haneti, we will be drilling 3 high priority independent targets..that is 3 more shots on goal for POW.
Hopefully all 10 licences in Victoria Australia will be approved, any of which could hold the potential company making deposit.
Surely, one of these will deliver a positive outcome, and all we need is one !!....I like those odds...gl all and be patient....
is growing weekly, slowly creeping towards that 1 billion mark.
We may be fully funded for the near term drilling and other exploration work, but there are still over 200+ million warrants not exercised yet.
The exercise of warrants does raise some cash and shows a level of confidence in the company, it is just that I hate to see the shares issued increasing.
However, I am very optimistic on the chances of POW striking it big and making all those invested, a lot of money....gl all
missed the webinar this evening, if anyone could post a link when it's available it would be much appreciated...
I really do hope those guys get to exercise their 20 , 30 and 40p options !
