Been out with a friend today for a walk. Lucky sod booked 2 weeks all inclusive in Rhodes for a family of four On Tuesday, he had a feeling things were about to get busy and more expensive. Flights included in a nice resort for around 4.5k. Checked the price on Friday and it was up to 6.5k and very little availability. He can cancel it for free up to 2 weeks before too. We are slowly getting back to normal. Good luck everyone this week
Hi zac. Great thanks for that. I’m wanting to get a good balance over time really. Some long term and then some cash spare to trade with. A few bargains to be had for at least another 6 months. Do you need a financial adviser to set those up?
Strange synchronicities? I was chatting to a friend who left the UK last year to live a simpler life in Georgia. He was telling me about AI and robotic companies of which Amazon, Microsoft and google are 3 of the big players. He thinks this will be a massive part of our future and even more now we’ve experienced this covid situation. The I did some sums on my start up investment money. If I’d split it between those companies from July 2016 I’d have a 165% profit, not bad for 4 years and the coved crash. Which as we know is irrelevant now in many us stocks now.
Interesting anyway. Hope it’s a fruitful day for all here. Sad news on INTU today.
You are the second person to mention powerhouse actually. Thanks for those tickers. Been in GGP but out now. They seem to be totally unaffected by anything that’s going on in the world at the moment, amazing really.
Yeah it’s a great question and tricky one to call. I think if you are controlling your owns shares then you need to evaluate every 6 months or so to see what’s happening in the market. I’d be tempted to put a large amount in a funds, trusts. Then look to the future as Bamps said. Renewable energy, recyclable energy. Then also stocks like beyond meat, that I feel has massive potential long term.
Bamps. What are you looking at in future stocks if you don’t mind sharing?
Hello. Yeah it only fell around 12% so not too bad atm, bouncing back now. Agreed, TW are in a better position I feel. Market dropping everywhere today so let’s see where we are going over the next few day. Good luck
