And for your information no, I have never lost money through fraudulent activities, though I have through shares by being greedy and not doing enough research ! Greed will kill bitcoin that and the soaring supposed value of it !

Idealised you can apply all of that logic to Bitcoin as well. And if it is electronic then sure as hell someone will find a way of breaking into it ..

I don't think there are many people going around with £1000 in their wallet these days .apart from that I have never lost a wallet I owned .. but I have lost or forgotten passwords like many people do!

Even though it could happen soon, there are currently no banks that accept bitcoins or any cryptocurrency in its form.

If you own Bitcoin and it's in a wallet and you lose or forget the password ..it's gone lost to the Ethernet .. that cannot happen with physical money ! Where is it's worth coming from ? Purely speculation ! It is only worth anything to those who own or trade it with other owners ! Banks won't accept it as currency and never will !

Monty. You got lucky twice . You could just as easily lost the lot, ggp has physical evidence that it will own 30% of a tier 1 gold mine, plus other assets yet to be proved ! What does Bitcoin own ? Absolutely nothing it's a scam which has made the inventors billionaires. It will burst and a hell of a lot of people will get burnt !

Idealised.. no shares are in a physical company and judged to be worth, what they can or will produce/sell and own! Bitcoin own nothing and produce nothing therefore are worth nothing !

Bitcoin is not physical. It can disappear as quick as it came, no one is producing something of worth, it is all electronic and basically worth nothing !

Bully.. I don't think being close to a city affects the AISC that much, it is more to do with the other minerals that are dug up and the method employed to get them and the gold !

Interesting to see Cadia AISC Costs of $104 per Oz. I wonder if Newcrest will be trying to emulate that in Havieron, obviously it will depend on other minerals but copper looks to be substantial !
