Yes.. I noticed that and wonder why such large sales a day before TSCO update ?

This was a pleasant surprize this morning amongst all the other doom & gloom. I had invested a few months ago estimating that HFD could be amongst a handful of shares that may recover well during the COVID years. Glad i did not sell.
Should they re-introduce the dividend (total 18.57P) my calculations show that at a SP of 265p the return would be approx 7%
Which in these times of volatility, uncertainty and suspended dividends seems an excellent return.
Therefore I do not intend to consider selling at any price below say 280P
Please post any response to my thoughts above.

I just had a thought which i`d likes to share with others to ask their opinion , as follows:
Seems BlackRock have made an excellent return on their investment (bet) against PFC (& probably others) resulting in pain for us. So instead of hating them why don`t we love them instead ? How ? well: can we invest in BlackRock ? I am trying to find out if they are a listed company but not sure. The closest I have found is an EPIC called "BRGE" but they seems to be an investment trust company ! Does anyone else know if BlackRock are listed since I intend to buy some shares so that the lower PFC goes the higher BlackRock.... am I onto something here or blessed with an overactive imagination ?

Rosewall; A future price of 267p is a point where I have to make a decision whether to keep holding in the hope of the special dividend (Lotus sale) and timing of the normal dividend or dispose of say half`s of my shares depending on national & global events, news etc at that time. No doubt ,knowing my luck, none of it will happen anyway.
Anyone got news on the Lotus sale ?

Anniecsp.. sounds like a good experience. but could I persuade you to use Tesco since they offer an equally excellent & timely service and just announced 16000 new jobs !! In addition their share price will soon move upwards so do consider that too.

Anyone thought of selling and moving to TESCO since their share price is about to start climbing and they may be releasing a special dividend soon ? Obviously I have already done so although holding some shares here for a while.

Anyone seen this bit of news yet and any views on it.? Also anyone know when the Asian (lotus) sale will complete ?
I think I made a good choice investing in TESCO in March and always ready to buy more. I am now awaiting a good jump up to 267p within the next month since almost everything else seems to be too risky except Hargreaves Lansdown !

Ahha.. thanks. Now 23% up and cannot see anything in the RNS, so there must be something in the national news that has
created an interest. Perhaps govt has lifted the limit on number of mourners and the amount of alcohol they can consume
by breathing in the "Gel" at the wake ??

Can anyone enlighten me as to the reason for the big upward jump in share price today ?

I`ve just got this awful feeling that we will soon be hearing from the SFO dropping the case against PFC and in the midst of the present economical / global result will be..... nothing ! In other words since everyone is so pre-occupied with Covid , economy, POO etc, PFC wont budge a bit. And that I`m afraid will be just my rotten luck. So lets hope we actually don`t hear from SFO until the present serious global issues are sorted out since then we could see a decent price rise back to the 1500 mark which is where I could reach break even. Just my thoughts.

Thanks you all for your comments, always interesting , amusing and informative. The reason I sold was that it was not all about any profits or return of capital. I had just got SSB (Specific Share Blues) with WTG (Quendell) after seeing it go down over years and years and years. My reaction was typical of SSB syndrome. I just wanted out.

I know its a slight diversion but this is about money you can make NOW on trading your TLW shares since the past and present are known but the future is unknown / conjecture. And I promise i have not been smoking anything filtered or un filtered.

The first clue to "My Plan" is the word "Capital". I`m many of you can benefit from it. Anyone`s interested ?

Market down because investors have got wind of My Plan.... since I have discovered how I can sell my TLW (& other) shares at a massive loss (I was buying TLW in the 150`s) but still end up Even`s Steven`s ! yes its true and although I had the information before, I failed to apply it to my share investments. So I have removed my shares from the "pending sales" area (I had done this to deprive shorters borrowing them) and may now start selling " At any price" since makes no difference. I may give a signals when I`m going to sell to warn everyone here.. so waite for my signals.

Well after years of being invested (Since the Quendell days), I finally sold all my Watchstone shares yesterday. Needless to say; This is no reflection on the future price or the company. I just had to reduce the amount of toxic investments I have to tidy things up and offset my losses against my capital gains. So I will not be visiting this share chat area in the future but will check in case of any responses, questions for a day or two. Bon voyage everyone.

Please none of us PI`s should be selling at these prices since TLW SP still has a long way to go. I will give you a signal when to sell. So waite for my signal.. please

Eviking; I agree , but your sentence should have said "The better for us" but unfortunately it will not be better for generations to come since they have massive environmental effects that have not been documented to date. And that is my dilema.. should I profit from it now for myself or should I look to future generations and publish my damming findings ? Its an ethical question.

Bye the way. I don`t have a personal wind problem.. yet. However I do have an ethical problem with Wind Energy since although at present it "may seem" to be a renewable & green energy, the reality (which will emerge in future) is that it causes great damage to the environment in many ways. My report on this will take a while to prepare and submit and may be held back for release at an opportune moment. I have been invested in PFC for many years and a long time prior to discovering the problems with wind energy. However I was aware of the problems with fossile fuel / pollution etc and yet i still invested in PFC & oil companies for financial gain (pension). It is a dilema and ethical issue which I am beginning to struggle with. In addition ; Should I time the release of my damming report on wind energy to coincide with making financial gain from shares in involved companies ?? In short (& with hindsight) should I be more concerned with the future of humanity and a sustainable globe that has no negative impacts on nature OR, line my own pockets with menetary wealth regardless of the effect on this unique earth populated by the worse virus in our galaxy..... Humanity.
