..this is an empty shell company and has a value to anyone wanting a listing. Don't understand why, if the XPL Board can't make it work, they don't sell the shell to someone who can. Useless feckerz.

Soz Tamer, but not a scrap of info. I've only two possible courses of action now. A potential tax refund, on the back of my huge losses, and I'm very tempted to go down the mis-sold shares route with the ombudsman. ...the rules re the maximum time a stock may remain suspended. Surely we must be have some right to be updated, even if it is just to be told the worst.

Should we now be thinking about what, if any, value there is in XPL as a shell. That is to say, a listed shell for some other business to buy 'off the peg'. Would that work at all and would the private investor see any such value or have we just simply lost the lot. Vues anyone?

It would appear not. Looks like even the optimists among us have left the building.

Not looking good at all. The writing has been on the wall for some time, particularly as I have heard nothing from my broker for months. Might as well go ahead now with my plan to sue for mis-selling of shares.

Never in a milion years (not that I'll need to make that decision). I would take everything bar a few thousand and invest it in premium bonds, so that I may sleep at night. The few thousand (max £10K) I would invest in ARS (yeh I thought so too).

Funny? That's exactly what it said the last XPL Board meeting minutes, followed by the only other entry...'does anyone have a clue what we're doing'. ps, I understand that there wasn't a response to either question. Lol

So chaps, we were close to our mega oil RTO(s) and then the bloomin oil price plummetted and ruined all of our plans (never saw that coming did we, even though we are very experienced in that area). Hang on though, there is a major power demand in Pakistan and insufficient supply to satisfy that demand and a superb chance to buy in on the future of electricity production in that country. We can't loose. Also a great opportunity to buy a cash generating bus company that will subsidise our work for the short term. A dream come true......moving away from oil; where there is over-supply, falling demand and more and more countries getting in on fracking, further hitting demand from the traditional middle east suppliers. Let's get into an area where we know there is infinite demand and additional opportunities to buy into more power stations................. Nah! Let's go back to oil, especially now that the Chinese economy is slowing. YOU P*LL*CKS!

Lol. Can't really dis ECR as, eventually, I made a bundle. Guess where I invested that bundle. For a number of reasons, I am very bitter about my donation to, sorry, investment in XPL. Being ultra positive for years hasn't worked, so I'm trying negativity and bile :-) Jack

Not a clue on when they may return to the market, but I reckon when/if they do the sp will be well south of 12.50. Jack

Don't want to appear to be negative (it's hardly been my way on here for the past few years) or #iss on anyone's chips, but we were advised in the previous RNS that they were looking for funding. Some weeks have passed since then and they appear, still, to be devoid of a financial backer. If the target is so good, and that does appear to be the case, then the problem might be that the composition of the Board and Execuive doed not instill confidence in any suitors. I'll hope for the best and plan for the worst. Do you think they read this board. Strange timing. Jack
