BOD are just letting the share price get killed everyday. No news, no RNS on the financial solvency of the company, and Sidara are attempting to make everyone think bankruptcy is imminent with their "450 cash injection" propaganda

Its so obvious the 450mill cash injection is a total scare tactic, designed to deter rival bidders into thinking Wood is severely distressed and justify the lowball offer.

why offer 85p when it can offer 35p and pretend the 450mill cash injection is "saving" wood

Yes KG needs to be investigated, I have no doubt BOD are pushing for cheap quick deal with Sidara so they can quietly slip out the back door

After the 35p offer on Monday the shares opened at over 30p but since then Ninety One UK have been dumping into the market and its driven price down to 20p and they have turned sentiment extremely bearish when nothing has changed. Extension means Sidara want to buy at 35p. Otherwise they would of walked by now

I can only assume its Ninety One UK still offloading its position, the cynic in me says Sidara are paying someone to hold the share price at 22p

Joekool1, are you trying to tell everyone you have inside knowledge that Wood is about default

Why are Ninety One UK tanking the SP, they are likely sitting on a big loss makes no sense to stress the market at these low levels may aswell hold for a better price or accept zero, why crystalize an 80% loss

I am not saying the share price will be 1.58, I am responding to Surin asking about this from a betting market perspective, in such a case there would be 2 markets , A sidara takeover trading at 1.58 to back and 1.59 to lay , and Wood bankruptcy trading at 2.75 to back and 2.80 to lay

Surin, treating this exactly like a gambling market where price is very efficient, A Sidara takeover would be trading at 1.58 which has an implied probability of 63.5% , the other side is bankruptcy/Wood going to zero, which is 36.5%

ofcourse this assumes

1. share price at moment is very accurate ( which its likely not to be )

2. A sidara takeover or bankruptcy are the only 2 outcomes, which obviously isnt true

Sidara trying to capitalize on a low morale share price speaks to their credibility, sharks with no integrity.

I stand to lose a small fortune if this goes to zero but I hope offshoring doesnt happen and people keep their jobs if Sidara do take over.

At 35p they are getting the company for pocket change, why would they walk. This board is absolutely full of panic sellers and shorters spreading FUD

BOD have done a dirty deal with Sidara to get Wood for cheap, the "450million" cash injection is pure catastrophizing to make it appear Wood is on the verge of insolvency, it also signals to other potential bidders that "hey look Wood is a mess dont bother bidding higher unless your also prepared to make a 450million cash injection".

Sidara waited for Deloitte report, saw share price drop to 25p , then offered bare minimum , likely also made a deal with BOD to, so obvious

If Sidara can offer 35p and if Wood is so valuable to them, then they can offer 50p

I would rather have my investment go to zero then see Sidara walk away with 35p.

Why does it matter if the share price drops going into suspension.

If your still holding at this level youve accepted that either theres a recovery or its going to zero. so it doesnt matter if the shares drop to 10p or 5p

Yes the very low SP and complete lack of buying is worrying. Also a reflection with how tight lipped the negotiations are, literally no information leaks to anyone, feels like it could be 5p and still there wouldnt be any buying. The market is acting like Wood is on the verge of failing

SWLC, my point is this should not of taken this long, Wood has become incredibly cheap and Sidara STILL havent put anything forward. AND no other bidders have shown interest despite cheap price.

The SP will not go up from here, each day it draws closer to deadline and suspension will be a drop. Neither Sidara nor Wood care about shareholders.
