Agree re. Entry level if he can pull off decent deal but I do see it as quite a big if.

It puzzles me that this is being negotiated without the panjam permit already in place.

That’s another thing that sways me to believe AE have influence as why would a JV partner consider parting with a sizeable sum without certainty the permit will be granted.

The negotiations started quite a long time before permit shows itself.

Again might be my ignorance and par for the course but from a simple perspective appears to weaken negotiating position.

Time will tell, not long now. I’m thoroughly prepared to be underwhelmed and certainly not ignoring the possibly of no deal which I believe would be truly awful after the so called “strategic” fill your boots exercise.

Conversely AE do have a few million invested and although it’s not a huge amount to them they will want to see a return.

I’d be suprised if any value enhancement has even begun simply because it wouldn’t make sense at this exact point. Why pay 100% of cost for something you are trying to negotiate a minority stake in?

Also I’m told that TM stated he is hoping to raise enough cash to pay ARS corporate and expenses for a few years so that’s around 10 mill isn’t it?

If that’s the case current mcap of 35 million seems about right already.

After 4/5 years and all the rampy BS from TM if this is true it’s very disappointing but on the form guide totally expected.

Have a million of these now 250x2 and 500 but today’s rns quite correctly saw a drop in price by bringing into focus the gold permits.

For me this is absolutely a zinc play. The zinc asset is highly interesting and glencore testament to that but the gold plays are two Bob window dressing.

Even if there were quality assets (debatable) “field work” says it all.

When the zinc drills start moving I expect to see mcap 3/4 million on spec before the results are in.

That’s a fair point on the basis something is better than nothing. I just don’t believe any third party will want to know without the main permit.

Do you honestly think a third party will consider properly funding this with that obstacle on the horizon.

Although AE in Singapore it’s obvious there is Indonesian involvement there and these permits only arrive at Indonesian discretion.

This feels triple fried f@cked at the moment.

My best hope is that AE don’t require banks to lend to them although I realise it’s clutching at straw

GGG you could well be correct that they don’t need banks for the dough. I hope you are, maybe I’ve become too cynical.

I’m not one of these ramped/derampers and just give my thoughts even if they don’t benefit my position.

Still don’t want to see another party in the mix as they will want an equity piece and although TM has skin in the game these AIM bods can just reset options so existing holders will take all that pain and no doubt TM would still do ok out of it...

Why do I even “invest” or trade on AIM, should know better!

For the record I’m a holder who simply thinks Tony’s bull**** is catching up with him and have just kept a piece of a prior larger holding as another AIM betting slip

Yeah but if they start diluting AE, they just get the permits witheld so nobody will benefit and to get back the 3 million bucks they can re-sell license.

They might have put in a few mill $ but can withhold permits until Ars lose the will to proceed if they don’t give them what they want. Maybe that’s what happened with previous tenants and maybe that’s the real reason JPM locked in a loss of a few million.

I know it’s lots of maybes but in a situation where very little makes sense there’s a conspiratory logic that I have yet to see proven wrong.

Other things that occur:

Respect your views GGG but I honestly don’t think Tony could be in a worse negotiating position.

Another part of the **** storm is that even if AE decided to be reasonable they are being accused of lc fraud.
