Fastjet RE: SOLG, it was thus watching that shares meteoric rise that helped convince me to start researching shares with much greater potential than just sticking with the safe and steady dividend payers in the FTSE350. (Some of which not so safe and steady recently !)

I too am hoping with all my fingers and toes crossed that this share can replicate that rise, who knows?! I think BA does :-)

BA sounds more like he is telling me what's going to happen then trying to convince me. That was a very confident looking BA, exciting times ahead.

Agreed mogwhy, I'm conscious of that.. earlier whilst trying to multitask between reading RNS and a difficult day job.. my words got jumbled a bit!

Page 20 of the Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2018:

"Further fund raising will be required at an appropriate time in order to undertake additional phases of the exploration and development work and the Group has historically been successful in raising additional funds in such circumstances.However, the forecasts demonstrate that by reducing the level of discretionary exploration and development activity the Group has sufficient cash resources available to allow it to continue as a going concern and meet its liabilities as they fall due for a period of at least twelve months from the date of approval of these financial statements without the need for a further fund raising."

The report was dated 24 July 2018.

I expect this matter to be sorted one way or another in the next few months.. either way I remain confident in this shares ability to deliver long term rewards that far exceeded what I thought I could achieve when I started investing.

Until funding to production is clear this strictly speaking remains high risk, I am happy with that risk and will hopefully be well rewarded for taking this on at this stage in exploration.

The CEO and bought in an experienced PMO to implement it... should he be successful (like he was at TAWANA) all will come good.. very good... why wouldn't he be successful? I really see no issues here.

The remaining questions over funding IMO are why the share price is where it is today. Once funding has been published the share will rocket, I believe this has already been arranged behind the scenes and the risk that the money will run out is slim to non existent in my view... SO... buy buy buy whilst they are still cheap (usual caveats apply, DYOR and all that..)

more time to buy Donny is what I am thinking.. if it falls back as those looking for quick wins exit, I will be there scooping up the cheap shares.

I am with you on that one hornydrum, the risk is too great to try trading with the news imminent.

I have never been good with gambling and nor do I want to be. My time horizon is a long one (I hope) so I am staying 'IN' until the divi's arrive.

I have bought most of my holding for between 0.128p and 0.15p, although I grabbed a few at 0.25p back in August... something to do with a golden cross and not wanting to miss out.. not too many but enough for me to learn my lesson and do my homework properly... all good learning though and I am now in a healthy profit so patience has paid off. Have been tempted to trade a few times to make some quick money (not nice looking at the red on my portfolio when I have a young family to feed) but haven't got the courage so have stayed 'in' and will be doing so now until production.

Just to step in here... I agree with Ray, I tend to try and keep full control of my financial affairs where possible and practical. I have never had to do a B&B since I only buy my shares within an ISA tax shelter however if I did I wouldn't trust the B&B process to favour me. I have had a similar experience with the cheap broker buying days, you save on the cost of the trade price but not the share price more often than not. Nowadays I choose when to invest in shares and when to reinvest dividends just so I feel in control more than anything.

JORC upgrade AND ESIA submitted? I wonder... the new PM (his name too difficult for me to spell) is currently part-time and due to start in February... I wonder if that's the plan, part-time to finalise the ESIA, getting familiar with the project in the process and then full-time to steam ahead with mining application and development activities?

Joking aside, I thought I had done a lot of due diligence on this share until I stumbled across this forum... some great posters on here providing good information positive and negative. Looking forward to the next six months of "regular" news flow and beyond.

I would imagine that the JORC update is about ready by now, on the 18/12/18 BA announced via BRR media it should get released mid to late January and from that point we should be updated regulaly on the progress of feasbility studies, ESIA and mining applications... join the ride I say!

Last one before the resource upgrade due in the next couple of weeks.

RE: Price prediction, no idea but like Joeman1 eludes to bellow, I have a similar vision.... the gold will be the next focus later on this year I think once the new PM gets to grip with the development phase of this project... do we still have Copper interests in Norway? I remember viewing a podcast with BA explaining on Proactive Investors that we do have Copper interests but they are on hold as it wasn't commerically viable to proceed with them at that time.... the podcast was from a few years back before the Mali opportunity arose....

That's the one wtfamidon, BA has reiterated several times since about not reinventing the wheel, keeping things simple, copying what others are already doing etc. Starting to think GFD maybe onto something in terms of producing in this calendar year. Exciting times.
