Yep. Around 2M shares were bought half an hour or so ago but that isn't particularly large. No idea of course who that was.
It seems reasonable to suppose it might stage a recovery next year especially as we run up to final dividend which will be 2/3 of 8%.
There's either bad news or a major deal in the offing privvy to certain corporate circles only, or the sp is simply being held back because no-one knows where the floor is.

It hardly seems plausible that the Lloy sp decline is driven by marginal factors like mortgage defaults.
Things like PPI ahave been in the sp for some time.
So I'd say it's really all about Brexit.
If it stays around 60p and dividends are reinvested this will do ok for me. The sp should eventually creep back up as well. Post Brexit+1 year I'd take a punt on the sp recovering quicker than people think.

Certainly looks like it. Who knows. More buys than sells which means the sp isn't based on the market like fruit n veg.
The volume is quite small compared with the market cap.
What is 'odd' is the relative lack of news and commentary on the sp decline in the public domain.What'll it take to recover? Who knows.

400 is my target. Wouldn't take any notice of JPM. Look at their track record on sp forecasts.

Ought to hit bottom some time soon one would think. Still more sells than buys arguing today is a bit of a false dawn?
Major brokers still have their ludicrous forecasts. they don't seem bothered about reputation or anything like that.
If a divvy cut is announced the sp ain't likely to rise is it!

There seems to be good buying but nothing moving the sp for a while.

Inevitable I guess that each bit of progress news causes a short time rise followed by a drift back down.
