The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Director sold a shedfull which I guess is the overhang. But to whom? Doesn't some entity have to buy them?
There's been a bit of good news recently and hopefully the sp will creep back up to over £3.
A LTH and hoping for a takeover.
Not that I have any insight regarding such things, but it looks like the bots are trading back and forth at this level with no real driver either way. I wanted in at around 300 and missed that recently. The only way to get any at 300 is to buy at 320 if you get my drift.
Well I bought earlier thus setting of the retrace. sorry everyone.
Not that I know anything but I feel you may be right thaiexpat. HSBC is pretty solid I think even though the sp varies a lot over time.
Wonder if the price drops are an attempt to drive people out?
Must be undervalued at the moment.
Waiting for this to go sub 1500 again before buying again.
Market doesn't seem to like GSK any more.
If I understand this right, Blackrock have upped their holding - or is it that they are simply the major nominee and hold the bulk of shares in issue?
I could buy more to drive the price down further I suppose.
It's perhaps inevitable that people will sell as we hit 60p to cash in on the latest spike.
Trying to decide whether to add while it's under 60p. That way it'll fall back to low 50s. 100% track record on that sort of thing.
Somehow NT always seems ahead of events. Funny that.
Tempted to top up but this could be a dead cat bounce as people leap on the back of the RNS.
I think this is a good stock despite the fall.
Shorting is probably the way. I can imagine this at 70p or 80p. Just look back at the vitriol others received when they predicted low 190s. That was very recent. There is obvious debt on the balance sheet but there could be a major cover up on the real extent of the problems. There is a marked lack of market commentary, maybe because the major brokers are still setting daft targets of 230-250. They don't seem bothered about reputation.
Still a million more sells than buys if the stats are to be believed. Yet we're up 1/2 a pee. The old logic of sp falls when people are selling and vice versa seems to have gone out of the window these days.
Must be good at this price one would hope. I have an avg of around £13 so looking for a return to that level - or hoping.
Anyone any ideas as to the large volume and no sp movement?
Well I bought more yesterday hoping that it was just a temporary retrace as has occurred over time looking at the chart.
The market really has it in for this stock. My amateurish reading of APH was that it was a good prospect and wasn't expecting this.
