germansi,
I think you're the first person to have commented negatively about their woeful preparations, when they came before the Surrey CC planning committee for the TMP.
It was so easy for the councillors opposing the TMP to find fault with the numbers and the statements made by Europa's learned spokesperson.
Firstly, the traffic for each of the two cases of aluminium track or a gravel track were incorrect in the submission. Poor attention to detail, when you consider that this was a traffic management plan that was being discussed.
Secondly, uncertainty was expressed by the opposition whether any of the mobile operators had sufficient signal strength in the area for good communication with and between the HGV drivers. Not good at all, as Europa claimed that mobile signal strength was good, but couldn't give the name of the mobile operator.
I was going to say something earlier, but I'm glad you raised the issue of the competence shown before the committee.
