Heid you make a good point, when looking at our US assets, it's sensible to compare revenue to the total cost of all of them, ie Andrews, Taylor, Moccasin & Diana, to gauge how soon our total investment will be in profit. Considering that we are likely to see the odd duster and that they are stripper wells, I would be surprised if the US wells break even within 4 or 5 years

Strange how David Bramhill interviews have dried up?

Morning heid, I think there's a good chance of an EIA permit, however I also expect legal challenges which could drag on for up to 2 years. If Egdon had applied for planning for the 600m pipeline 3 or 4 year ago, the lack of flaring would be a major plus point for showing the anti-oil brigade that we can do it better and cleaner than importing oil. Egdon has really screwed up on this point imo

DAVB, at some point ujo will need to raise cash to fund wressle expansion which is likely to cost £5m (based on Europa's £3.7m for 30%). Logically the 6.3 treasury shares will be -re-issued as part of the fund raise

Kawasaki, when DB announced the move into the US I thought it was a great strategic move but at that time I had never heard of a "stripper well" (it seems clear that neither had DB!). Andrews, barely commercial, has been a huge disappointment for shareholders - Bramhill's ramping was exposed as bullcrap once we got hold of ok.gov data. We have to hope that Taylor, Moccasin and/or Diana make the US investment worthwhile, if not, draw a line under the US and get Keddington side-tracked.

I wouldn't object to his salary if UJO made 1/8 of a FTSE100 company unfortunately 2023 revenue was only £5.07m and post tax profit £0.86m

Uggy, agreed, even if CS is as good as I hope it is, I have no doubt RBD has overpaid - I am also miffed that LNe got 1.2 bn RBD shares with no apparent lock-in. The last tranche values LNenergy Ltd at over £18m when all they have is a bit of cash, some RBD shares (not worth very much these days!) and an option that will cost $11m to exercise.

Frascogna has played our clowns beautifully, not only that, but he appears to be the major/sole shareholder in LNe SRL which will receive $11m from LNe Ltd assuming the Gunvor deal is in place. If CS is permitted, the sp will spike and I'll take my money out and run for the hills...

Why do you think CS is a big con??? if they get the permit it's going to be a major win for all concerned. Let's hope they get it this month otherwise the option will have to be re-negotiated

I'm adjusting my portfolio to include more companies with a good chance of a near-term takeover bid, Chemring is one of my picks. the upside with CHG is a good order book with more to come imo
