Well we got our answer……and reading between the lines of the RNS they need even more issuance

The £1mm off market IR loan for a HY company, a crop, another equity raise!

I sold out after the AGM given the dilution flagged by the new issuance allowance and not including shareholders, with the view to buy in again once that was done. What they’ve done seems incredibly desperate and they still can trigger the share dilution approved in the AGM. Would run for the hills.

It was the passing of resolution 10 & 11 that made me sell out and watch. I feel this is going lower when the potential circa up to £6+ of shares are issued and not offered to existing shareholders RNS comes out. They need cash for working capital and salaries and this first harvest won’t cover that. I assume, and I could be wrong, they’ll want the share price to rise on harvest news and then dilute at a discount (where existing shareholders don’t need to be included). That’s when I’ll go back in, as don’t think this is a con, just private investors are being used to ultimately get this to an institutional investment stage. Hopefully I’m wrong and this flies, but happy to miss some of the early volatility until this is out of the way.

Kind of the news I was expecting. We now know why they wanted to issue more shares.

So the RNS is pretty much as I was expecting. Let’s make it sound good without any real numbers, get retail to pump up price, issue at a discount to the new price to essentially get back where we were and move forward. Personally still like the idea but will wait till they dilute.

So Mobico have issued their new 8yr €500mm bond at 4.875%. That’s the near term funding issues gone. Expect MCG to recover steadily from here.

I’ve been a believer in this market and like the story. But can’t keep invested in this company as it’s too opaque, not enough colour to investors, and clearly it appears retail will be diluted. Sold out today and will reinvest when news is out on a proper investable plan and results. Happy to lose out in the short term as it feels very much like retail are being used at this stage to the ultimate benefit of the owners if it works. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear some apparent good news for the AGM that will be short lived when the details are properly analysed. Hope I’m wrong.

In Res 10 it would appear they think revenue won’t be enough to expand/carry out their strategy/pay their wages, but then under Res 11 it would appear to me anyway they think news will rally share price and want to reward specific shareholders. Just find it rather alarming there are no photos of the facility, no real updates on the first crop…..both of which you’d think would be easy wins for them?

What do people think about Resolution 10 & 11 of the AGM? Not sure why Shareholders should not be included in any issuance of new shares?

Personally like what they said. My Housing properties would drop 38% of the Sept Value if they went into administration, if you extrapolate that across the whole portfolio, so throw the kitchen sink at it, the current share price would still be trading at a discount.....added more.
