When it says its using interferon beta is it referring to Traumakine?

Who's this wombat that's turned up tonight, is he from the SNG board. Popped over there this morning to see what's going on.. made 3 posts, got shot down with insults and abuse... the SNG board is full of vile and venom.

My take is the whole bunch over there are just out for a quick buck.. opotunists on the covid 19 situation.

Over here on the Farn bb it's clear that while we are investors, many have believed in farn for a long time... yes we want a return on our investment but also very eager for Traumakine to get out there to save lives.

Some are what have been discussed in the news recently like lopinavir/ritonavir which are HIV drugs

And steroids which if you watch the interview yesteday Marku starting smiling as this trial will prove what he has been saying for a long time that corticosteroids dont work

Different class altogether.. that's why they have been selected for the Remap cap worldwide trials

The world of large pharmas are a fickle bunch.

Seems the US are trying to make things work.. closed within their boarders. They tried to buy a german company who were working on a vaccine the other week to keep it all to themselves.

The remap cap study is international... far more open to the world.

Through extensive research and ex-vivo studies, scientists at Turku University have identified, that a molecule called CD73 is an essential entity needed to maintain endothelial barrier function. One of the key findings that led to the development of Traumakine was a discovery that interferon beta-1a could enhance CD73 expression and therefore could be used to treat a range of vascular leakage conditions, including ARDS. Traumakine works by enhancing lung CD73 expression and increasing production of anti-inflammatory adenosine so that vascular leaking and escalation of inflammation are reduced.
