As someone else mentioned what ever the type of option, if it explicitly gives you the right to take ownership during or on expiration it confers the voting rights

I don’t believe the short positions are especially important.

It’s a bizarre position to take when the 3 very large major share holders are all adding to their holdings.

They constitute near 60% of shares or voting rights.

I believe the shorts are just keeping a lid on the sp and funnily enough that’s convenient if you’re adding to your holdings.

I don’t believe a rain effected Q is going to make much difference.

In simple terms you need a 50%+ support for your bid. if either MA or AP wanted to mount a bid they'd pitch to Camelot, get them on board and then try and win support from the rest, probably excluding the other.

MA has dramatically increased in a short time period. Camelot and AP have just reacted in the last week.

MA has a fixation on top shop apparently and doesn’t like losing and has had a couple of run ins with AP.

If MA were to bid hypothetical £10-13 I’d bet my house AP would counter bid.

MA could triple his money as a starter.

I’m not convinced a bid is imminent but it looks like something would need to give unless they’re prepared to work together and I don’t see that.

Interesting article, MA uses HSBC and had a brokerage account.

I agree, it’s a bonus if it happens but the other action should prove infinitely more positive.

I’d have thought MA didn’t need a stake this big to gain influence or be a spoiler.
