Have been told by dividend information that a Special dividend of £1.02 is being paid. No mention of this from Aviva. Am ignorant old investor . Can someone tell me what is happening. Special Divi. or not ?

Nowt to be other than negative here . suspect you have not been a shareholder for long. some of us have been fed a diet of Excellent news for many years and seen the sp collapse. Scooby I asked question back in december and sp fallen further. Your observations make it even more of a mystery.

If buying for the long term,the timing of a buy can be important. With respect £18.49 and below £17 is more than 5% surely.By below £17 i did not mean £16.99 exactly.

So popular it has fallen 34%. Maybe a contradiction but Motley Fool, is no fool to say buy at this price. So far though no takers as sp has drifted lower whilst the market has moved up a little.

As a new shareholder in Boohoo came on this site. Seems most messages have little to do with the company ! Only ITV site shares petty comments. Maybe recent postings do not represent content here ?

Wonder if ANY shareholder has ANY trust or belief in the management of this disaster of a company. The sp says it all.

Why oversold. Some seem to think a takeover will happen ? why this talk has gone on for years ,even when the price was 2x its present sp If no buyers are interested at below £1 clearly ITV are NOT going to interest anyone any time soon.

Sorry to point it out but the talking is from bureaucrats and politicians. All they can do,is enjoy the sound of their own voices. Nothing to see here. Give it a year or two.

What puzzles me about our Smoke and Mirrors company is 1 Most folk seem to agree they have innovative "products " being produced. 2 Management are a bunch of clowns. 3 Nobody seems to be coming forward to take them over to solve issue 2 and make a good profit/ investment from that move.

brave Trinityman. As you say nothing from CEO and sp suggests this is a company with nothing to bring to "market" and about to fold.
