Oil price, Ophir, Anglo African And finally…

Oil rallied yesterday as possible movement on the US/Sino tariff war was mooted. Ophir has accepted a bid worth 55p, oh what could have been…And Anglo American brings in the Djeno at Tilapia but it will be a long haul for patient shareholders.

Cold,wet and snowy here....so as all sensible mice do I shall wizz off to the Canaries for a few weeks,Mrs Mouse is happy with that, she even agreed to come along.

Talking of rigs someone mentioned that Caroil 4 was available in the country. Well I have experience of Caroil 3 and it certainly was no better than the one we have just used. If we are to drill on our own we need the best there is not the most convenient.

If we can nail down the licences and get extra acreage in return for money’s owed, we then farm out a percentage of future drills eliminating having to rais cash and having a free carry on up to 6 wells.
Let the big boys in and carry some of the risk and possible returns. Could be the quickest and safest rout for us.

I think I will sell up and buy into an oil company that has acres of oil and a route to market.it must have a very small market cap and the right management.should I start looking in La La land?

I had one of these once,it gave nothing but trouble and when it went for its MOT it failed as it was omitting noxious gasses, I sent it to the scrap yard where it belonged.

I fell asleep this afternoon and missed most of the fun...never mind there will be plenty more...great Co to be invested in.

Jay, a company with huge resources in the ground and excellent prospects, but this is Africa and things move slowly very slowly.

If you feel that you are being starved of news and being kept waiting to long,try this.

Myself and a few others on here were heavy and long term investors in another share in Africa. We waited for 2 years for a valve in a drill to be fixed ( still no news to date).

We waited for 2 years for renewal of licenses ( still no news to date )

So please have some patience.....news will arrive when it is ready, endless phone calls,texts and emails will do nothing.

Drewky, I was out with them last night and what a great night it was. David gave me all the news and results but due to a dreadful hangover I can’t remember for the life of me what he said. Hic,Hic.

We already have more than we can handle, but as Oliver Twist said....please Sir can I have some more ?
