Mike Ralston, CEO of Blencowe Resources, explains the significance of the MSP for Orom-Cross. Watch the interview here.
Wow. Off-to-the races !! With an O&G major in partnership.
Read Eagle Eyes 12.59 posting on the March RNS. Could not be clearer as to why !!
Read the RNS and enlighten yourself !!
True but the answer is so obvious. CLON is the only EU bidder for these Bolivian assets and they are amongst the best three in the world- the others being in Argentina and Peru. Lithium assets on this scale are a buffer for EU member states and industries against market domination by China and Russia.
I am sure that the EU would prefer someone other than CLON but that is how it is. Read the RNS again and perhaps you will eventually grasp the politics and the financials.
Yup. Seems that way to me as well. They are using the EU as a Bank Guarantee to offset the weakness of CLON's own balance sheet and, in return, the EU will have a guaranteed pipeline of high-purity lithium chemicals suited to the EU battery industry and thus not be reliant on China or Russia - or much less reliant anyhow. High stakes indeed.
As I said :
Clontarf Energy plc (AIM: CLON) is pleased to announce a heads of agreement around the potential formation of a 50:50 Joint Venture with US based, OTC Markets traded, technology company, NEXT-ChemX Corporation (“NCX”) covering testing, marketing, and ❄️ NCX’s proprietary (patent pending) direct lithium ion extraction (“DLE”) technology❄️in Bolivia.
Formation of the JV is subject to final due diligence and the parties entering into formal documentation, which is intended to occur within the next 30 days.
NCX’s ion extraction technology uses the surface area of hollow fibre membranes to extract lithium ions from brines. The technology is a continuous process, and does not require high pressure, temperature or electrolysis. It does not rely on osmotic processes, or costly filtration techniques electrolysis, but instead mimics biophysical processes of natural principals to induce ions in solution to cross the membrane barrier. This mimics how mammal organisms remove wastes from a donor liquid without physically mixing with an acceptor liquid.
Where did you get the idea that CLON owns the patents from which they would be entitled to a user-royalty ? Chem X owns the patents
Obvious really - to 'take out' the competition and become the only European offeror
The only competing bid from within Europe is Watercycle Technologies. They are a bit of a joke 🤪 - a micro-company ( no. 10771817 at Companies House) and will not be treated seriously by the Bolivian Government as they have no balance sheet and net current assets if £151K !! That said, why doesn't Clontarf link up with them for their technical expertise ?
Might be an idea f you read the RNS again - 'fools' is an appropriate part of your trading name.
Yes, but not a public or substantial player. Small and innovative though.
About Watercycle Technologies:
Watercycle Technologies is a UK-based climate tech company pioneering sustainable and circular critical mineral recovery essential for a NetZero future, creating clean drinkable water in the process. It is initially focused on two areas critical to lithium production and creating a circular economy for the global energy transition, Direct Lithium Extraction and Crystallisation (DLEC™) and the recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries and black mass (shredded batteries), working alongside major lithium producers globally. Watercycle Technologies’ scalable, modular technology delivers dramatic reductions in costs and has a reduced environmental impact than other processes available. It’s patented advanced membranes and filtration systems can also be applied to the extraction of other critical minerals and metals from all types of water, including wastewater.
Based at the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre in Manchester, (GEIC), Watercycle Technologies is a spin-out of the University of Manchester and is backed by business accelerator Aer Ventures.

Can you reference a source that said we needed to pass Phase 2 to be eligible for EU support. Why ? Because, if you are right, todays' announcement from the Bolivian Government is even more significant than I thought !!
The market has not yet realised what all this means . RNS needed.
Am I right to think that Clontarf, being Irish domiciled but listed in London, is the only EU -registered candidate on the Bolivian list ? Must help with funding underwriting and grants from EU sources.
Rubbish. They do not have any licence yet. They have just passed the next stage of application. Do some homework !!
Don't be daft. Read the message trail and stop being lazy. It is Bolivia !!
No , really?
You might learn how to use decimal points !!
This is a day when duplication does not matter but brilliant work Torino !😍
Rare for the MMs to be caught so flat-footed. I guess they use RNSs only to mark-up stocks before trading so when one slips under the radar and is noticed by PIs before 8am, the early bird really does get the worm
Some plonker just dumped 250K at less than 1p - just as copper goes vertical and even BR will soon be profitable !! Doh.
