No you're right. I have done a bit of day trading and taken a few hundred quid here and there. But when it goes wrong your money gets stuck. I havent sold anything at a loss yet and where i am stuck will wait to break even.

Get onto your broker. I use AJBell, they're great. They return emails really quickly. Great app too.

We still need fossil fuels for decades. Otherwise everything will just stop! Offsets and technology advances improve continually.

True, good point about buyer's remorse! All I know is that I have had money tied to RI for a month or more and my TUI investment is minus more now than a month ago. Will hold for now but if it takes too long to break even will sell when it does. All of my shares are **** at the moment. Would like to buy VAL today but don't have the funds.

I generally go by the feeling in my big toe. More reliable that any predictions of whoosh, boom or bash!
