This is really interesting. I think it is a scenario that you probably have to go through a few times to learn from the experience. For me I have opted to buy all my rights, but I guess am frustrated with the days/weeks to go through. Each day the value of the RI fluctuates which maybe I wasn't expecting. I'll be happy when all is done and dusted so that I can see the true value of my investment - whether up, down or even, so that I can then hold, sell or buy again.

This is actually too late to make a difference for October half term bookings. How do the UK government expect anyone to order and receive these things before traveling when the approved list is not available until 22nd. Big big miss.

No that is not correct. Check your secure messages from your investment platform for tui rights issue notification. Mine has informed me to expect ri shares options tomorrow, 12th.

My understanding thanks to all the helpful info here and on Motley, is that the £2.93/4 is effectively the ex rights price. I am buying my rights which will be about £3k and once all complete will either keep the shares or sell the equivalent of £3k, to leave myself more shares than I started with but at a lower share price - my overall value approx £12k, the same as it was when SP was £3.48 a few days back.

This is probably the chattiest board for any shares that i own. I know there is a case going on but simply dont have time to follow it closely. Last week there was some share excitement, and now a substantial decline and stick to the low 70p's.
So tell me as you are mainly more experienced than me, what outcomes can we be looking at? Give me the good, the quite good, the bad and the ugly please?

I had my notification this afternoon. Looks to equal approx £1.83 a share based on current EU rate. I had reduced my holding earlier in the day so now only looking at 165 new shares, so for £300 may as well go for it. For the experience more than anything, so that iIam more prepared and knowledgeable the next time I am in a rights issue scenario.

But will our existing holding suffer, if we don't but RI?
